"I ,, remember, back in. 1975. When we used to walk to the candy house, we used to buy most of that candy for one penny. yes those was the good old, days. "Yes, that is some old-school candy. i really enjoyed this video. "Good, job. "Marlee.💜.
OMG!!!!! When you pulled out the Long boys I was done!!!! I have been looking for them. I loved them so much. We use to call the flipsticks lipstick candy. LOL Im about to get my order in asap. Thanks for sharing!!!!
You are so welcome. Giiiiiirl those Long Boys were the joint back iin the day. Those and Squirrel Nuts, but OTC was out of the SN so I only bought the Long Boys. I ate them all in two days. LOL.
Yeeeep, all of the goodies and most of them are no longer on the site. I now frequent Dollar Tree, Dollar General or Family Dollar for these favorite candies we ate as children. Thank you for your support and please forgive the late response. #life
Use to buy Big Bols at the corner candy store for 1 cent each. We use to call them "Big Blo's". Didn't know if they still made them so I looked up vintage candies. So glad they do. I wouldn't have thrown out the Black Cow candy. Maybe that's why they are black. I would have tried one anyway. Also, need those Baked Beans! I will look up Old Time Candy because I used to love those gum and candy cigarettes. Yes, we could see the "smoke" coming out of yours. Funny 🤣🤣🤣 My grandma used to smoke but like you, I never did either. Thanks!!!💖
Hiiiii @Riva2025, please forgive me for the late response. The last four years have definitely been lifing, but I'm back now. Yep, we used to pay 1 cent for the Big Bols also and we called them Big Boys as kids. LOL! Funny how we here things differently as kids versus what it really is. Yep, those Baked Beans and candy ciggs were awesome. I now buy my Baked Beans candy at Dollar Tree.
This video is not sponsored. I bought all candy with my own money. Unboxing starts at 2:58 www.oldtimecandy.com Hi loves, In today's video I share with you my shopping haul from Old Time Candy. I spent $38 total on candy from 1920s-1980s. Leave me a comment letting me know what's your favorite candy. Has it always been a favorite or did your candy desires change over the years. For me my favorite candy as a child was anything banana flavored, as a teenager it was peanut M&Ms, and as an adult my favorite candy is taffy.
