There's such a nice and unique style to your videos, not just the art itself but the pacing, the writing and the music you use is always so distinct. What would you say had the most influence on your style of animation ?
That's a great question. I'm mostly inspired by Peanuts and New Yorker cartoons but a little influence from other styles finds its way in. This bit was entirely inspired by CalebCity's timing and scenarios
@@harrisondrawscars3834 YES! I knew it as soon as I heard the sound at 2:06. Nothing brings the whole bit together like the madness escalating further once that sound comes out. And the "Nooo, how? How? It's not supposed to be there..."
In case anyone's wondering, there's typically a little arrow on the gas gauge that shows which side of the vehicle the fuel cap is on. Anyway, this is great. I like the descent into pure horror over the course of this video.
I remember doing the same thing with my moms car once, since the gas cap on hers was on the opposite side from where mine normally is. After about the third time doing it I just decided to drive away in shame and embarrassment
This has the pacing of the Pixar shorts before movies back in the day. Absolutely fantastic.
