I've heard of the military diet. It's not stupid, just that it didn't work for you. That diet was designed for men. Females intermittent fast differently. Just try a different method of IF, one that works for you. I've made it a part of my lifestyle and it is great (not the military diet but another form). If the military diet didn't work for you, that's fine, but don't shame it. One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Zach Beer Still it's pretty low.I mean it's your choice but i freakin remember eating only 300 calories a day because i wanted to lose weight.I could only go for like 3 days,but i learned that it's not the right way.I now decided to eat about 1200-1400 calories a day depending on how much I exercised.850 is not that bad but I recommend you increase it a bit,maybe eat 1000? It's a lot better and believe me you do not need to lose weight fast.Losing weight slowly while enjoying it is much better.
i've lost 15 pounds so far and the key is exactly what she said: water, healthy eating, and consistency. another weird thing that i've learned is that trying to avoid unhealthy foods altogether is what made me quit my diet in the end. every once in a while it's okay to eat a handful of doritos (like she said), a slice of pizza, movie popcorn, or even splurging on some cookies one night. i found that, in my case and in many other people's cases too, it is impossible to resist delicious, unhealthy foods - i always end up giving up and stopping my diet! so i treat myself every once in a while after a workout or on a night out with friends because i deserve it, but it always important to continue eating healthy afterwards and hop back on your diet schedule.
This is same with me. Before I'm really skinny and in shape no matter what I ate and over the course of a year, gained over 20lbs and I love your tips! I need to start losing that weight because I miss my old body also
I really liked this video because im a teenage girl as well and usually videos about losing weight are about older people and health problems and doctors trying to tell you many ways to diet, but this video was a bout a real person my age doing something simple that actually worked.

I want to eat as much as I want, and what I want. I'm too lazy to do exercises. Then I find a motivation, and do all the fitness stuff. But then I lose the motivation again, and just don't give a fuck. A few days later I get sad, and depressed about my body, so I want to start again. It takes me a few weeks to start, and I repeat everything. Is there hope for me, or am I just a damn quitter?
Cora 156 It happens to me too. But the key to keep going is to be happy and excited to eat. Don't forbid yourself from eating the things you like. Just limit the portions. Eat a small meal every 3 hours. You don't need to do that everyday. You can have 3 medium sized meals a day if you feel too lazy to prepare 5 or 6 meals. Just don't force yourself to eat something that doesn't taste good just because it's healthy. For example if you don't like to eat plain eggs you can make them devilled eggs and add mustard, or you can have 2 spoons of peanut butter with your sliced apple for breakfast. Just eat what you like and eat it with healthy food and hopefully it will make you happy
A tip is to never ever go grocery shopping when ur hungry since u tend to crave unhealthy foods and end up coming home with a bunch of crap! Another tip is that if u only keep healthy foods in ur house u will also eat healthy. Eat three main meals a day and 2-3 healthy snacks in between :) Great video Lexie!
yeah that's a good tip! It's super hard to follow or it will be for me, but now I am moving further away from my town area and more into like a farm area so I will be less likely to go to the store because I'd have to walk a lot and this way I will spend much less cash and also if I really wanted to go to town I'd have to walk A LOT so it'll be worth it.
The point that you make in this video is right on target. Felling unhealthy is something that no should should stand for because there is the ability to control your own body. You changed what you didn't like and that is the best message to young girls. Not this "you have to be skinny" or "that shouldn't be considered plus size" stuff, but rather "you should feel good about your body." Eating right and being really active comes in phases for me, but overall, I have a healthy diet and exercise routine. While I've never gained more than a few pounds, I know when I start to feel like crap, its because I'm eating crap like pizza, soda and chips (and way to much of it). The way I feel about staying healthy is that God blessed me with good health and I shouldn't destroy the blessings He has given me! Congrats on loving your body and changing what you needed to in your life to feel healthy! God bless!

I lost 40 pounds since the end of May, so 3-1/2 to 4 months...eating potatoes, wraps (vegan) pretty high carb don't avoid fat... I eat a pretty balanced vegan diet, no consistent exercise but I'll go like maybe twice a week for a run, but that's only been for the last 15-20 pounds. I started weight lifted, but that's for muscle growth... I eat whole foods and don't eat anything that isn't offering my body something positive. I made an Instagram called balanced vegan foodie, and I'm going to start tracking everything... Is she not vegan anymore?

I'm 5'8 and was like 221 at the end of May and I'm 178 now, and it flew by. For my height and I'm still about 17 pounds overweight so I'm not quite done... I gained 65 pounds over a 1-2 year period previously my normal weight before was between 155-165 and I look decent at that weight but I'm aiming for 145 but I'll see how I look and feel.
I'm not sure my measurements though... If you're really small it will probably take a little longer, and you might not lose it as easily as I did but anyone can lose weight, if you have weight to lose.

Mahalet M it can definitely be enough for a meal. If you're on a 1,200 calorie diet, you can have 200 for breakfast, 300 for lunch, 400 for dinner and 3 100 calorie snacks throughout the day
And it didn't take all this dedication and to be completely honest it wasn't tough at all... I excersize when I want to and I didn't even drink a ton of water, just when I was thirsty I just eat a whole food diet, and I feel like it just falls off I eat when I'm hungry and I stop when I'm good and full... I don't eat pointless calories everyday I make sure everything going into my body in benefiting me.

Other wise eating cereal is like an empty box of calories. Try not to drink sodas; and stay away from juices with high fructose corn syrup. That comment you said about chips, and OITNB was hilarious. I LOVE this. As someone who struggled with eating disorders for 7 years I really have a hard time taking any control over my diet that isn't destructive. I think these tips are perfect and it inspires me to fix my eating and weight once and for all. (My eating disorder in short: I lost about 10-15 pounds and struggled with a couple of pounds back and forth for about 5 years, then I got depressed and gained 44 punds and that's where I'm at today, still with anxiety and fucked up eating habits). i usually hate all kind of weight loss videos because the audience here on youtube are young and sensitive, but this is so bubbly, positive and nice! I want to loose 12,5 kg. I am dieting for 2 months and I have lost 1,5 kg. Maybe I could have lost more weight. But I would put on more weight if I didn't try. I'm proud of what I did so far, and I keep going. Women out there, don't despair and don't give up if you don't loose a lot of weight soon. Exercise and eat healthy, it will pay off eventually. isa actually, there is sugar that’s good. foods like fruits, vegetables, beans, nuts and whole grains all contain simple sugars (what’s good for you) bad sugar comes from foods like candy, coffee, soda, and so on. I found cutting down my portion size, replacing sugar with honey in my tea and cutting out in between snacks really helpful! If i did feel hungry in between meals id reach for nut and fruit mixes and herbal tea! Making these choices made me feel better inside too! I felt less tired and lazy~

If you cut out meat, you can have a lot of carbs (but keep fats low). If you keep carbs low, you can eat a lot of fat. Kettlebell cardio is the fastest, most effective work out or there.
Ty for the informations but to be honest, i have to say that what's mentionned in the video is not a really efficient way to get in shape. I believe that it's necessary to get a full weight loss program such as John Barban's or Adam Sool weight destroyer program or some few others highly recommended by experts programs. Motivation is always necessary to get what you want.
The reason that you should drink a lot of water, is because most of your body weight is water. Salt takes away water. Now I know what your thinking, "I'll eat more salt." NO! The more salt you eat, the more water your body holds onto. The more water the better, the less salt, the better. If you drink more water, your body will release about 5-10 pounds of water. Also, starving yourself DOES NOT HELP! When you start eating again, your body will grasp onto the nutrients, causing you to gain weight. Last tip. Do as many sit ups you can everyday. Same with push ups, and when you can't do anymore proper push ups, do push ups on your knees. Trust me! It helps!

We'll first of all it depends on how much weight u want to lose... If u want to lose like 20-25 pounds than I would start by restricting the junkfood u eat and trying to not eat 3 hours before u go to sleep. Next try and do different exercises during the day to tone up the areas u want to work on. U should be eating around 1200-1500 calories a day depending on ur height and weight but vary the intake so that u don't hit a weight loss plateau. you're probably just beginning to go through puberty... at your age your body will begin to go through a lot of changes.once you get to the concert the last thing you're going to worry about it how you look. the best concert I've been too felt like showering with 2500 people. it was disgusting, hot, sweaty and so many people had to be carried out due to dehydration. anyway, I'm 17 and my weight is only just beginning to settle down. I seriously don't recommend dieting at your age but if you're going to do it you need to do it right. you need to be eating about 1845 calories a day to maintain a healthy weight. on top of that you need to make sure you're getting "good calories". you'll want to cut out junk food and processed meals, but you can't just leave it at that. simple cutting food out of your diet is going to make you sick. make sure you get all the nutrients you need in your meals. swap the junk food for vegetables, the processed meat for fillets, etc. eat 2-3 meals a day (at least lunch and dinner, ideally breakfast too if that's something you can do). eat until you feel full and then stop. try not to snack on anything unhealthy in between. ideally you want to be getting your 7 portions of fruit and veg in with your meals and snacks. you also should make sure that you keep within the ideal weight boundaries for your age/height/sex. also one more note: muscle weighs more than fat. if you exercise frequently enough you'll lose weight but also start to gain muscle. the weight on your scales might increase but your body will start to look much more toned and slimmer. weight lose comes easy to some and it's harder for others. you need to make sure you're keeping healthy and that you're not pushing your body beyond it's limits. you need to be 100% positive about what you're aiming for and you need to understand what is reasonable to expect. I'm one of those assholes who can lose 9lbs in two weeks simply because of swapping meat for vegetables. you might not be so "lucky". keep safe. don't expect too much and don't push yourself too hard. don't do anything dangerous. have fun at the concert, I'm sure you'll have a blast. :)
Im 12 and I weigh 148 pounds. I lost 10 pounds by attending swimming classes and staying active. I also recommend drinking LOTS of water especially before bed. Green tea is also AMAZING for weight loss. I would also cut back on fast foods and processed foods. Hope I helped!
I would just try drinking lots of water (like she said) and eating as healthy as you can! I'm trying to lose weight also and I'm seeing them the 22nd so I don't have much time! but just get up and drink water, do light exercise in the morning and maybe heavier exercise later during the day! my mom told me it's better to eat 6 small portions of healthy food a day than 3 large ones so just try that! :) hope I helped!

My personal weight loss tips So I have lost 15 pounds in the last 20 days. No I didn’t do exercise. But I did diet. I basically removed carbs and sugar from my diet. So no bread of any kind (yes even wheat) no rice, no pasta. Also no sugary drinks strictly water and unsweetened tea no chocolate, no candy, etc. No flour. So that leaves mostly natural foods like fruits veggies and proteins like meats and nuts. And you can eat as much as you want. Don’t go over 27 g of sugars. Fruits have sugar too so watch out.

I don't know much about how to gain weight, maybe someone else can help, but I did want to say that if you want to gain, never load yourself up with junk food and foods that are high in salts and sugars. My friend was really skinny so she wanted to gain some weight. She let herself eat junk food and fast food more often/all the time. I guess it felt good to eat whatever you want. She got the weight, but she also got diabetes. Be careful. Just please take care of your health.
I'm not a nutritionist, but I was only 46kg when I graduated high school (sorry Australian weight measurement). I wanted to gain 5kg to be a bit healthier. I ate meat- steaks mostly, chicken breast, bacon and kept the fat on them. Of course I stuck to veggies too-always! However, I may have had a high fat and protein diet, but I kept my cardio up. Sounds counterproductive to lose weight even though you are trying to gain weight, but you can't let unhealthy fat form in your body so burn it off and put on some muscle. It was about a one to two year process, but I reached my goal and I'm about 5'4 52kg and slimish. If you need more advise go to a doctor before a nutritionist.
(This is just what i think) I say eat meats and drink a lot of water , eat eggs fruit veggies but still treat yourself like it says in this video but don't loose the weight gain the weight and I know that sounds so weird but don't just eat junk to gain wait because then once you have reached the weight you wanted to reach its going to be hard to get out of the unhealthy habits so just still have your treats and things just not to many but have your protean and everything a body should have ( just my opinion)

A tip is to never ever go grocery shopping when ur hungry since u tend to crave unhealthy foods and end up coming home with a bunch of crap!
Another tip is that if u only keep healthy foods in ur house u will also eat healthy.
Eat three main meals a day and 2-3 healthy snacks in between :)

The point that you make in this video is right on target. Felling unhealthy is something that no should should stand for because there is the ability to control your own body. You changed what you didn't like and that is the best message to young girls. Not this "you have to be skinny" or "that shouldn't be considered plus size" stuff, but rather "you should feel good about your body."
Eating right and being really active comes in phases for me, but overall, I have a healthy diet and exercise routine. While I've never gained more than a few pounds, I know when I start to feel like crap, its because I'm eating crap like pizza, soda and chips (and way to much of it). The way I feel about staying healthy is that God blessed me with good health and I shouldn't destroy the blessings He has given me!

I lost 40 pounds since the end of May, so 3-1/2 to 4 months...eating potatoes, wraps (vegan) pretty high carb don't avoid fat... I eat a pretty balanced vegan diet, no consistent exercise but I'll go like maybe twice a week for a run, but that's only been for the last 15-20 pounds. I started weight lifted, but that's for muscle growth... I eat whole foods and don't eat anything that isn't offering my body something positive. I made an Instagram called balanced vegan foodie, and I'm going to start tracking everything... Is she not vegan anymore?

I'm 5'8 and was like 221 at the end of May and I'm 178 now, and it flew by. For my height and I'm still about 17 pounds overweight so I'm not quite done... I gained 65 pounds over a 1-2 year period previously my normal weight before was between 155-165 and I look decent at that weight but I'm aiming for 145 but I'll see how I look and feel.
I'm not sure my measurements though... If you're really small it will probably take a little longer, and you might not lose it as easily as I did but anyone can lose weight, if you have weight to lose.

This was an adorable video, with some good tips. I'm curious to know, what did you flavor your water with? Hmm A couple of tips I could say is if you're gonna eat cereal, pick a yummy nutritious one. Other wise eating cereal is like an empty box of calories. Try not to drink sodas; and stay away from juices with high fructose corn syrup.

I LOVE this. As someone who struggled with eating disorders for 7 years I really have a hard time taking any control over my diet that isn't destructive. I think these tips are perfect and it inspires me to fix my eating and weight once and for all. (My eating disorder in short: I lost about 10-15 pounds and struggled with a couple of pounds back and forth for about 5 years, then I got depressed and gained 44 punds and that's where I'm at today, still with anxiety and fucked up eating habits). i usually hate all kind of weight loss videos because the audience here on youtube are young and sensitive, but this is so bubbly, positive and nice! I want to loose 12,5 kg. I am dieting for 2 months and I have lost 1,5 kg. Maybe I could have lost more weight. But I would put on more weight if I didn't try. I'm proud of what I did so far, and I keep going. Women out there, don't despair and don't give up if you don't loose a lot of weight soon. Exercise and eat healthy, it will pay off eventually. Remember that if you didn't diet, you'd probably put on more weight.

I weigh twenty pounds less than I did two years ago. Water is a biggie. Never skip breakfast. I'm also a college student who commutes. My friends would always get Panda Express for lunch, but I would just bring my own lunch. Finally, I power walked.
You want to know how to loose weight? Don't eat sugar. You wonder why there is never a DV percentage on food labels? Daily recommended is 25 grams, that's about 5 tablespoons. Yea.....try and go with out sugar for 10 days, it feels amazing.

I found cutting down my portion size, replacing sugar with honey in my tea and cutting out in between snacks really helpful! If i did feel hungry in between meals id reach for nut and fruit mixes and herbal tea! Making these choices made me feel better inside too! I felt less tired and lazy~

Frozen fruit or lemon in water is good as well. Just eat when you're hungry. Give yourself healthy options, and eat what you like. Vegetables and clean meals are best for fat loss. If you cut out meat, you can have a lot of carbs (but keep fats low). If you keep carbs low, you can eat a lot of fat. Kettlebell cardio is the fastest, most effective work out or there.

Ty for the informations but to be honest, i have to say that what's mentionned in the video is not a really efficient way to get in shape. I believe that it's necessary to get a full weight loss program such as John Barban's or Adam Sool weight destroyer program or some few others highly recommended by experts programs. Motivation is always necessary to get what you want.

The reason that you should drink a lot of water, is because most of your body weight is water. Salt takes away water. Now I know what your thinking, "I'll eat more salt." NO! The more salt you eat, the more water your body holds onto. The more water the better, the less salt, the better. If you drink more water, your body will release about 5-10 pounds of water. Also, starving yourself DOES NOT HELP! When you start eating again, your body will grasp onto the nutrients, causing you to gain weight.
Last tip. Do as many sit ups you can everyday. Same with push ups, and when you can't do anymore proper push ups, do push ups on your knees. Trust me! It helps!

We'll first of all it depends on how much weight u want to lose... If u want to lose like 20-25 pounds than I would start by restricting the junkfood u eat and trying to not eat 3 hours before u go to sleep. Next try and do different exercises during the day to tone up the areas u want to work on. U should be eating around 1200-1500 calories a day depending on ur height and weight but vary the intake so that u don't hit a weight loss plateau. I hope this helped a bit and good luck on ur weight loss!!
you're probably just beginning to go through puberty... at your age your body will begin to go through a lot of changes.once you get to the concert the last thing you're going to worry about it how you look. the best concert I've been too felt like showering with 2500 people. it was disgusting, hot, sweaty and so many people had to be carried out due to dehydration.
anyway, I'm 17 and my weight is only just beginning to settle down. I seriously don't recommend dieting at your age but if you're going to do it you need to do it right.
you need to be eating about 1845 calories a day to maintain a healthy weight. on top of that you need to make sure you're getting "good calories". you'll want to cut out junk food and processed meals, but you can't just leave it at that. simple cutting food out of your diet is going to make you sick. make sure you get all the nutrients you need in your meals. swap the junk food for vegetables, the processed meat for fillets, etc.
eat 2-3 meals a day (at least lunch and dinner, ideally breakfast too if that's something you can do). eat until you feel full and then stop. try not to snack on anything unhealthy in between. ideally you want to be getting your 7 portions of fruit and veg in with your meals and snacks. you also should make sure that you keep within the ideal weight boundaries for your age/height/sex.
also one more note: muscle weighs more than fat. if you exercise frequently enough you'll lose weight but also start to gain muscle. the weight on your scales might increase but your body will start to look much more toned and slimmer.
weight lose comes easy to some and it's harder for others. you need to make sure you're keeping healthy and that you're not pushing your body beyond it's limits. you need to be 100% positive about what you're aiming for and you need to understand what is reasonable to expect. I'm one of those assholes who can lose 9lbs in two weeks simply because of swapping meat for vegetables. you might not be so "lucky".
keep safe. don't expect too much and don't push yourself too hard. don't do anything dangerous. have fun at the concert, I'm sure you'll have a blast. :)
Im 12 and I weigh 148 pounds. I lost 10 pounds by attending swimming classes and staying active. I also recommend drinking LOTS of water especially before bed. Green tea is also AMAZING for weight loss. I would also cut back on fast foods and processed foods. Hope I helped!

I'm trying to lose weight also and I'm seeing them the 22nd so I don't have much time! but just get up and drink water, do light exercise in the morning and maybe heavier exercise later during the day! my mom told me it's better to eat 6 small portions of healthy food a day than 3 large ones so just try that! :) hope I helped!

Who else is binge watching these weight loss videos because people at school called them fat well that's me I'm 11 years old and I'm 9 stone while the people in my class are 7-8 stone and some call me fat but it's gotten to the point were I cry when I go clothes shopping because I'm in the women's section while my friends prance about happily in the kids section there all about 11-12 and I'm 10 in women's sizes 😪 I feel self conscious when a teeny tiny bit of I think it's armpit flab hangs out of my vest tops that and they make me look fat in general so I only wear them when my mum MAKES me I go to the gym once to twice a week but I've only gotten small muscles no weight loss 😪and I feel fat every time I eat sugary foods but guys what I'm saying is don't let the haters get to you ok enjoy your body the way it is xx

My personal weight loss tips
So I have lost 15 pounds in the last 20 days. No I didn’t do exercise. But I did diet. I basically removed carbs and sugar from my diet. So no bread of any kind (yes even wheat) no rice, no pasta. Also no sugary drinks strictly water and unsweetened tea no chocolate, no candy, etc. No flour. So that leaves mostly natural foods like fruits veggies and proteins like meats and nuts. And you can eat as much as you want. Don’t go over 27 g of sugars. Fruits have sugar too so watch out.

I don't know much about how to gain weight, maybe someone else can help, but I did want to say that if you want to gain, never load yourself up with junk food and foods that are high in salts and sugars. My friend was really skinny so she wanted to gain some weight. She let herself eat junk food and fast food more often/all the time. I guess it felt good to eat whatever you want. She got the weight, but she also got diabetes. Be careful. Just please take care of your health.

I ate meat- steaks mostly, chicken breast, bacon and kept the fat on them. Of course I stuck to veggies too-always! However, I may have had a high fat and protein diet, but I kept my cardio up. Sounds counterproductive to lose weight even though you are trying to gain weight, but you can't let unhealthy fat form in your body so burn it off and put on some muscle. It was about a one to two year process, but I reached my goal and I'm about 5'4 52kg and slimish. If you need more advise go to a doctor before a nutritionist.
Protein helps a lot for gaining weight
(This is just what i think) I say eat meats and drink a lot of water , eat eggs fruit veggies but still treat yourself like it says in this video but don't loose the weight gain the weight and I know that sounds so weird but don't just eat junk to gain wait because then once you have reached the weight you wanted to reach its going to be hard to get out of the unhealthy habits so just still have your treats and things just not to many but have your protean and everything a body should have ( just my opinion)
