She is so super talented. It's not just the accents that she can do (which is a long list), it's the mimicking of different voices from people speaking. I could actually picture the waitress, the boy co-star and his mum from the voices she used, even though they are all southern accents.

Because if it wasn’t something she actually thinks herself, she wouldn’t have responded with a comment about the waitress. 🙃 whether or not she repeated the word doesn’t excuse the fact that she chose to make a jab about the person instead of ignoring it and continuing her story

I don't see the flap about her comment; it was blown way out of proportion. Kinda like many Americans and our obesity crisis. What she said isn't untrue. We ARE the most obese country in the world, due to our "bigger, better, larger, more" mentality. Portions ARE outrageously oversized at most chain restaurants and full of unhealthy fats. It wasn't this way when I was a girl and young woman (60's, 70's, 80's).

People need to get a grip, what she says isn’t even bad. She’s literally just describing someone. As a fat woman idgaf if someone describes as enormous I was for most of my life, if a woman described someone as “skinny” I’m sure no one would have a problem with it…

One of my favorite EB interviews. She is hilarious! But, Jonathan, burgers do NOT make you fat; it's the fries and the sodas that do.

Fries and soda do not make you fat! Overeating does. :) ♡

    • @tkbone32221

What do you think MAKES you overeat? Carbs - they're broken down to glucose, which raises insulin levels, and insulin is the (HIBERNATION) hormone that tells your body to store fat and be hungry all the time. It's also the reason why people can't live without coffee anymore (otherwise they'd fall asleep). Calories are ENERGY, which does NOT make you fat. It's the constantly elevated insulin levels because of excessive carb consumption that makes people fat.

Of course she's not being cancelled because she's a beautiful woman and that's all it takes for other women to idolize her and thus forgive her mistakes, but remember... it's the patriarchy that's the problem

Have you never blurted out something f…Ed up. I mean seriously this generation just needs to stop already knit-picking every hiccup in someone’s existence. And I am currently over 200 lbs guess what I know that I am. It’s not like she said it to the woman’s face. Do people that are overweight not know they are? It is what it is. As long as you are not purposely bullying someone or insulting them to their face wth is the big deal. When I gain weight i literally have had people ask me to my face when I am expecting because I hold all my excess weight in my belly shit happens people say things and feel mortified about it after they do. It’s called being human.

This is interview that has everyone up in arms are you kidding me? Even worse, I can’t believe she apologized profusely. If you mention that someone is enormous, it’s just descriptive. She wasn’t being mean, she was adding context. I wish these people would grow up. If you want to be fat, then own it, stop trying to get us to pretend that you’re not.
