I've not enjoyed this - I've loved it. Thank you for showing your collection so far. It's made me very happy on this wet and dreary Sunday in South Wales. I don't have any bootlegs, but I have a few lovely tapes and some great vinyls in the collection. Until next time!
You got some good boots there Nigel. They look so professionally done. I never knew about vinyl bootlegs back in the day. It was only through following people in the vinyl community that I discovered bootleg records. Love how you leave the bloopers in.
Lmfao thank you very much - I used to cut the bloopers out and post them at the end of the video - but then WORRA BELLEND happened so .... Yeah bootlegs have come a long, long way presentation wise. You do still get dodgy audience recordings but you get some excellent one's as well like radio broadcasts and soundboard recordings
I’ve been collecting since the 80’s. My favorite has always been The Entire Population of Hackney 2LP 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 been collecting Maiden, Pink Floyd, Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, S.O.D. since I was like 10. Still have 99% of damn near everything I’ve ever bought. It’s so addicting lol also, love that Brixton bootleg. Run to the Hills has always been my fav artwork 🔥🔥🔥 Also, love Sanctuary, Purgatory & Number of the Beast single artwork 🔥🔥🔥
Ya know, I've heard of that entire population of Hackney record but I've never heard it seen it. What show is it? I've always wanted bootlegs of the complete shows for Live At The Rainbow, Donington 1988 and Raising Hell. I absolutely agree with your artwork favourites but I think my all time favourite is the Killers artwork. I sometimes wish I'd got that tattooed on my arm now instead of The Trooper. I absolutely love the early 80's Derek Riggs Eddie's more than any others. Killers and Sanctuary are amazing, they just take me right back to that time, just little things like on Sanctuary, the plastic litter bin attached to the lamp post, Wow I remember those, they didn't last long lol.
Hold on, none of my boots from the '80s look that gorgeous. Only got a handful but if they had looked that good, I'm sure I would have bought more, even if the audio is crap on most of them. I've always wondered if the limited numbers they're meant to be, are accurate? They're obviously not going to produce tens of thousands but can we trust these very low numbers? Bought a Demonstration Record: For Airplay Only, limited to 300 clear vinyl in the 80's. Discog's states there's 2,500 on various colours. Were these all made back in the day or have they been reissued over the years, who knows?
@@rockgod2004 You're probably right. Especially with the individually numbered items but why release so few? The clear vinyl I have has at least 600 and maybe 900, which says something is amiss. They're bootleggers and we can't trust everything they say.

Yeah they've improved LOADS since the 80's lol. I think the numbers must be accurate because some if them are as rare as rocking horse shit
