That is a lovely set, even the cardboard box it came in is fancy. Could you imagine if they did all the Hammer films like, would be beautiful but would eat up a lot of shelf space.

I CANNOT wait for them to release more of these, mine arrived today too and it’s one of the nicest boxsets I think I’ve seen in terms of attention to detail and the actual content included! Never seen it either as it’s one of the few Hammer’s I own so very excited 😃

Hhmm, but…this is hardly canon. Looks a great set, but it’s a £7 Blu-ray film on 4K with a hard box and art cards. Is it really a £50 film? 🤷‍♂️ You decide !!

I liked Life on Mars but preferred the subsequent series better… and Ashes to Ashes is a much better song than Life on Mars, haha.. clowns are creepy, I’ll concede that.. I thought the team had great chemistry, I’ve watched it twice.

Just finished watching mine, not the best hammer film but it's mostly set in the day and shot on location so the 4K looks superb. Love the graphic novel, hope they do that with future releases. But fuck lobby cards 😂

I have to confess Nige I got quite emotional watching this. I couldn't help thinking about my dad and how much I'd love him to have seen this release. I shed a few tears to be honest. It's a phenomenal effort from Hammer and if they maintain this effort on all their 4k releases then all Hammer fans are in for a hell of a time. If they release a Dracula set as good as this I'll marry it and retire to a villa in South America and live happily ever after! I saw online that it's en route to me in Dublin so hopefully see it next week please God. I was delighted to see the joy in your face. I know Hammer means a lot to you too! I've only seen Alice, Sweet Alice once about 15 years ago and I recall next to nothing. Just the doll mask. Weird. The only film called Communion I've seen the alien abduction film starring Christopher Walken! 😂😂😂

I remember seeing pictures of this in a magazine back in the day (probably Fangoria) and always wanted to see it which I eventually did on vhs with about 2 minutes of cuts if I remember correct. Fortunately I have the 88 films blu now. Love this film. One of those that I'll happily double dip on a 4k release.

I think the only one I’ve seen is Eaten Alive, which is a good film, but the animal cruelty is definitely tough to watch in that one. Love the look of that AC/DC live album. Never heard it before, so I’ll have to give that a listen at some point. Awesome stuff Nigel.👍

Now that’s a haul! Great video Nige and glad to see it finally arrived. All these Severin on the hit list for payday, opted for VS on Black Friday as knew I’d be more likely to get the Severin down the line too much to get so now have to pick and choose. Best ever time to be a collector! Last horror film I grabbed on release as I feared it would be another Four Flies on grey velvet lol 😂 wasn’t making that mistake twice but still ended up with four flies from film treasures so all good!
