- Unfortunately Miele do not currently offer a power head model in the UK, but I had to show you this Miele Electroline I bought for an absolute bargain price.
97 Pounds? Thats nice! I recently bought a Miele Turbo Power Head STB 205-3 used, in clean and working condition for only 1€ :D I was very lucky... I have a nice Miele S8 Duoflex from 2012. It still works just fine. Greets from Germany :)
That was a bargain at that price Roger-excellent! And it's an amazing machine - the floor head does look huge and might be its only design fault but otherwise its a terrific package
Fantastic review. My Filter Queen w powerhead works fine after 30 yrs/paid $500 in 1989 & never regretted; but, I'm ready for a new one. I tried a Shark which feels like I'm handling a shark cuz it hurts my hand/wrist & got blister...but it clean well. I saw this Miele & fell in love w it. Mom had an Electrolux back when & taught me to value a good vacuum.
97 quid!?!?🤣 That's dirt cheap for a Miele! I just got my C3 complete Cat and dog for about 240 and I was happy with that! I love it anyways! Good video!

You got a real bargain! Although I got my 1600w Miele C3 free from another youtuber. It's just a straight suction model.

I have a basic Miele cylinder that goes up to 2000 watts, but I do not use it's highest setting. I live on a boat so I am limited as to what I can use. I use a turbo head off a Cat & Dog model on it. It;s not an electric head, I think it just works off suction. I've had it for about 9 years now and it's never let me down.

That is the most amazing bargain for the top-rated canister cleaner in Consumer Reports tests here in North America!!! And what a beautiful Royal Blue or Navy Blue!!!! In Canada, the top of the line Miele goes for CAD$1,200 but the power nozzle has LED headlights.
I love my suction only C3. Just wish Miele would make a companion “carpets only” lightweight bagged upright like an Oreck to complement their suction only canisters. A pair like that would be so much lighter to use for their respective cleaning tasks.
Got my C3, without power outlet or the vacuum powered brush, for £30 and it came with 10 bags. My local second hand shop, absolute bargain.
C3 Electro is quite special as it's the only Quad A rated one.. I've got 2 of them because we will never get another one as good thanks to the EU power restrictions.

They lost my order too! It took them 2 weeks to get it to me and they never even offered me a discount! Just a poxy pack of bags.
This is a lovely cleaner and the C3 is my favourite Miele cylinder, so nice looking and this particular model performs so well! I did do a demo of mine.

lol - I was wondering when you'd comment on that £97 purchase price - I know you bought the same machine a while back. To be honest, while powerhead Miele's are nice to have in a collection, I rarely use my own S5 Revolution with the large SEB236 powerhead, as its simply to big and bulky to lug about, and I find I use uprights or my cordless Dysons more often than a cylinder cleaner anyway, but its all down to personal choice I suppose. There is no doubt though that Roger got that machine for a song, and I would have jumped at the chance of getting one for £97 had I seen it and had the money, but I hardly ever check ebay any more these days. A bargain missed there.

The vacuum of my dreams. I wish there we had more powerhead vacuums in the uk. I suppose if people want a vacuum to clean carpets properly they just get a upright.
The seb228 head is huge but it is without a doubt the best power nozzle made. My only complaint is Miele should have put a headlight on it.
I love the blue matching socks... always wear matching socks when you are vacuuming.
Here in the states, there is a lot of miele vacuums with powerheads but a lot more expensive than in your country. I bet that miele vacuums are more expensive in the USA due to transportation costs and import taxes.
Holy cow! That's a great price! Never mind our US counterparts; I think we're all jealous of you. I can definitely vouch for the performance of that SEB 228 on carpets, though it is quite noisy.

I spent C$1000 on my C3 powerline… A.k.a. the British racing green with the beefy electric brush and the parquet floor brush! A step up from the floor brush you received! Also, my baby is 1200 W! Roger, nice vacuum! Those Mieles are wonderful cleaners. May I help you with the name of the company that made the Electrobrush? You are correct - it’s the “W” company, which is called Wessel-Werk. Because it’s German, the Ws are pronounced as if they were Vs ... so it’s “Vessel-Verk”! 😀
I have a Miele C1 hoover. I recently purchased the STB205-3 air-driven turbo head for it. It actually works really on carpets and hard floors. Even on thick deep-pile rugs the brushbar doesn't slow down THAT much. The underneath is removeable so you can clean wound hairs off the brushbar easily.
I do like that electric turbo-head. Does the underneath come off so you can clean the brushbar? Is the brushbar belt or direct driven? Is it easy to use as it looks rather big and heavy?

That would be the Miele Marin here in the states and retails for about $1,099.00 but it comes with the SEB236 powerhead.
I have a Miele C3 cannister vac. I have just replaced both filters and the bag. The problem is the dust compartment door has stuck. The door closes good and tight but when you try to open it only opens a 1/4 inch. I am scared of forcing it and breaking it - any suggestions?
I think that HEPA filter red line only moves when air fllow is being forced through it. Am I wrong?

Would you recommend this Miele with Electrobrush over Sebo Felix? I have a Miele Complete C3 Powerline with Turbohead and Parket Twister and also a Sebo Felix with ET1. Both do an excellent job on cleaning but I am so intrigued by this vacuum. Is it worth to sell everything and to get this vacuum just for the Powerhead or not?
I was thinking of replacing my dyson with this - but can not face throwing that bag in the bin with the plastic on it?!!! What to do??

Is there a reason why Miele decided to not to put the end filter in front of the motor? Then the motor always has clean air and you don't need a separate end filter then.
I have a C-3, and it has a "pre motor" filter as well as an exhaust hepa filter...
@@1953childstar Yeah, that's how it is now. But why would Miele not just put the HEPA filter in front of the motor? Then you don't need an exhaust filter and the exhaust air is still super clean. Miele must have a good reason for why it is at it is, but I don't understand it.
This was the top rated model for hard flooring which is all that I have. I use my Hoover on my bit of carpet. I think there is a version that only comes with the head for the hardwood. Is that the smaller one then? It's a suction only vacuum. They have so many choices that I'm having a hard time understanding what I would even be getting.
You don’t need a model with a powerhead if you have mainly hard floors. Any Miele cylinder would be fine on hard floors, just pick the model that has the features you want.
@@ibaisaic I live in Canada & when something isn't available here (and I can afford the higher price) I just order from outside my country on Amazon or Ebay.
