Loving this video so fair about half way through and learned soo much already. Can't wait for EP 2 of this, i wish i started playing the game before all the updates like the phase changes for the pipes and the latest up and the update as of yesterday as well lol. Soo got alot to learn and this vids are going to help ALOT.
Much appreciated - and even though the chaptering isn't done yet: Here's EP 2! ua-cam.com/video/tqhwLERAYxY/v-deo.html Stationeers will keep mutating right under our noses, so even though every playthrough is somewhat different anyway ... they will become much more different over time. This is such a perfect spot for a gamer to be in. Plus the devs keep popping into the Discord channel.
Use doubletap 'F' to quickly put back a Tool from your Hand into the tool belt or an item from you hand into your backpack. This makes switching things a bit faster
This video is amazing, it's such a great reference for the basics. I really don't mind at all the pace at which you're going, you've timestamped the video so if you're impatient you can skim through to find what you want. Only a third of the way into the video i paused and spent many hours in the game, i'm coming back to finish the video and really appreciating how much you've gotten done in the span of this video, while taking all the time you do to explain the mechanics of the game.
Thank you so much. This was such a long time ago, I barely remember it. I would love to do videos like this one again (even though I have multiple), because it's fun to do like this - but I can't escape the feeling to do better, so I'd have to do an edited structured no-mistakes kinda thing, which is tons of work, but that's the natural progression. Interesting that this past seems to be impossible to me now, even though it's technically not - but it would feel wrong if I'd do this again instead of raising the level (if not even the standard). ---- I'm glad that you like it and hope you get lost in the game for all the hours that it's worth it. Maybe you'll be lucky so that if you feel like enjoyment of Stationeers is plateauing for you, just then a significant new development is released like the upcoming new terrain or nuclear power, or even the terraforming expansion.
Thanks for your commendation :) If ever you're in a situation where you could get other people in the Stationeers boat: Here's a super compressed introduction of beginner knowledge: ua-cam.com/video/WUXgYpFD5fI/v-deo.html ---- And to get them interested in the first place, I made a trailer: ua-cam.com/video/MQfLYT8qVTg/v-deo.html
Thanks guys! 6 upvotes? Where did *that* come from in two hours? Well, I had the flu but afterwards also didn't feel like doing much, so I was chilling with shows/films ("3 Body Problem" kicks ass!), played System Shock (Nightdive Studios), Hardspace Shipbreaker (with some "audio-only" type YT videos), etc. ... and I've got a week off.

This game is really good but it's starting to piss me off i don't get it i put oxygen inside using oxite and i have pretty much the same composition as u but when i open the helmet it's still gives me oxygen low error and i die shortly after event ho i have 80% oxygen

I wanted to detach the crate, but that Wrench action isn't shown in the tooltip, only the Drill action. / I Angle Grinded the lander because it would be blown away by the storm eventually anyway, and this allows easier access to the crates, and they're also no longer rotation-symmetrically located in the world, so it's easier to remember where is what.
I wasnt expecting your meditative approach, but somehow, it actually works, an awesome step by step explanation for a newbie like me.

Yep. I keep forgetting that there's still better ways to use the interface. I guess I got stuck on "Just use the mouse pointer!"

For early cold start - running torch quickly heats the area, enough to melt the ice for air. Some pollution will be released but it can be ignored.
I sure wish they would fix multiplayer. Above all else, being able to play and learn with friends would make me play this game much more
