I disagree with Tim Miller. Those members of the GOP are not required to publicly endorse Vice President Harris. She can stand on her own. She welcomes those that have come out for her over 200 individuals. She welcomes the vote of millions of Americans who are republicans, independents and others.

For the people most involved in being in politics, the highest priority is money. Republicans are trying to play both sides against the middle: careful about their Trump outrage in case he's elected. (God forbid!), but not too close to him either. There are big money players who intimidate people who want to continue having a political career. We'll improve the whole situation when we get big money from here and abroad OUT of US elections.

When a candidate for President has literally said that we should terminate the Constitution when it becomes inconvenient (which Trump has done), it is their obligation to make that known and to do everything in their power to ensure that that candidate does not become President.

I appreciate Chris Christie for not backing down and continuing to criticize Trump. So many in his party who claimed to be done with him went back and kissed the ring when things got hard (looking at you, Nikki Haley).
The problem is that unlike Jeff Duncan, Chris Christie and others can't bring themselves to endorse a Democrat in spite of the threat that they know Trump is. Christie had an exit ramp on this when Biden was the nominee.... he would repeatedly say he couldn't vote for either Trump or Biden, because of Biden's cognitive issues. He's been a lot more silent and done a lot less interviews since Biden stepped down. Because he knows he can't use that excuse anymore.

To be clear, he's not saying this is a failure by the DNC or the Harris team. He's calling out these Republicans who he knows are anti-Trump, but aren't willing to rise to a moment like this and go after him on a DNC stage.
The issue isn't that they aren't reaching out to those people, it's that they should be clamoring to appear if they were willing to really put their money where their mouth is.

I agree with Tim. I happened to meet T's campaign chair near Asheville NC back when T was president. I had no idea who the guy was, just happened to be watching NATO coverage in the car shop. Fox News was on the TV. T was playing his games and I turned to ask this gentleman...."NATO is a pretty good idea, don't ya think?"

There is a saying "Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing, after they've exhausted all other possibilities". Well America, you've exhausted all other possibilities, now vote for freedom and democracy, there is no other option. This isn't an anti-republican vote, it's an anti-trump vote.

I'm a Democrat who sent money to Chris Christie, the second of which was the day before he bailed out. I'm glad it was a small donation. And I too have been wondering about where the heck he's hiding, and why. And I really expected to see Liz Cheney show up. After all, she was the one who was so cryptic about whether or not she'd run against Trump. I suspect that her dad probably got here to stand down from standing up at the Democratic convention. I'll consider that decision a dinger on her. She's proven that she has sand (Old Louis L'Amour character term.), but she lost a few grains by not speaking in Chicago to help keep Dirty D.J. out of the oval office. Next election cycle we can go right back to our regularly scheduled political arguments, but without the insanity, and embarrassment, of having the likes of Trump on the ballot. It's time to do the right thing, and stand up and be heard.

The likes of Chris Christie and Liz Cheney have made it clear that they don't endorse Trump but they still are not going to give up their free time attend a convention which they havn't been invited to. I don't see why anyone would.
