yesterday i did the part where we have to kill molly. I know she broke the rules and was pretty much insane, but that shit made me feel so bad. just like when hosea died, lenny. it just makes you feel like everythings is falling apart. AND ITS JUST A GAME. i also did tthe part where we kick strauss out of the gang. i know he practically killed arthur because he sent him to th place where he got sick, but even that made me feel bad.

After all this, Molly's death is probably the trigger that sent Karen deeper down her destructive path... From that point, nobody could save her.

I feel so bad for Molly, shes the one thing you dont notice until it's too late.
I've never understood why everyone feels sorry for Molly. She was a stuck up b@&ch who though she was a cut above everyone else. When Dutch starts ignoring her she found herself on her own - that's what happens when you alienate yourself by acting high and mighty.
its not that i didnt notice, its just i didnt really care about molly and her attitude. whole time she had relationship issue with dutch but thats not the problem of rest of the campers. and i didnt really understand why molly was so paranoid. either she wanted attention and drama or she had some deep insecurrity of not being loved. but i digress.
@@kr-sd3ni she was paranoid because she felt like she was higher class than everyone else in the camp like better clothes, dating the leader. But everyone made fun of her for that .-. And Dutch started ignoring her so she felt like an extra wheel you don’t need on a car.
@@kr-sd3ni she left everything for dutch. Which is a lot, considering she grew up wealthy. I really felt bad for her, and I believe it is the gang's responsibility to ensure nobody is losing their shit. One member going crazy can cause damage to everyone.
This was more than anything dutch's responsibility but he never cared about her, tossed her aside once he got tired.

I like that despite their rivalry, they ended up being on somewhat okay terms before Molly's death. You can tell Karen cared, as she blows up at Grimshaw and calls her a murderer after she kills Molly.

There are some hidden dialogue with Karen talking to Charles about if you mess with her before her morning coffee should call your eyes out, and Charles was just like “good to know”
There is so much dialogue and so many little hidden conversations... you cant get them all in one gameplay.... thats what makes this game so unique in so many ways.... RDR 2 is a total Masterpiece and the best game EVER created EVER !!!

I never cared about their dialogues cuz I'm always away from the camp doing missions 😭 only going back to camp to eat and sleep. Sad playthrough for me 😑

I remember the first argument happened for me during a massive thunderstorm just as Molly screamed ‘Trollop!’ at Karen, made such a tense atmosphere.
I pity her because she knew she’d chosen the wrong man but couldn’t do anything to get out. It’s a shame Arthur seemed to care more for the other women but saw her as crazy until the end.
My first argument was for shooting outside the camp too many times. Dooch came up to me and was like "What did I say!?" And arthur was like "It wasn't me!"
Remember Abigail talking to Molly and Abigail telling Molly how Dutch didn’t feel the same way or as strongly about their relationship as Molly did. Molly wouldn’t listen.
@Kira if you read her poetry, Dutch picked her up at a very vulnerable time in her life and more or less led her on. I'd put things more on him.
Molly was often very stuck up when you want to greet her. Zero lack of enthusiasm. Unless you zoom in on her cleavage with the binoculars. Only then she will look directly at Arthur, together with a cheeky grin on her face. Heard it from a friend.

I think what happened with Molly is that she may have read one of those dime novels and had a romantic illusion of what the American Old West was about. She was born rich,and had everything she wanted but was bored with her life in Ireland. She must have traveled to America alone, or left her companions in another city. She ended up in Blackwater and there she met Dutch, and he charmed her. Molly believed that her fairy tale had come true until the Blackwater ferry robbery happened.
I think Molly broke all ties with her family back in Ireland,and was tormented by the fact that she was now ruined in the eyes of polite society.
And she thought he would actually care.
It struck me now, Charlotte Balfour is in very many ways Molly oShea but better.

Between making Molly go crazy and the killing of Heidi, safe to say Dutch is monstrous. And that's just a couple of well-known things. Blackwater still largely remains a mystery. Then add everything that actually happens on-screen.
Dutch did nothing wrong. He only seems monstrous because he was an antagonist in RDR1 so the writers had to somehow make him a bad guy in the end, justifying it by him receiving a head concussion in Saint Denis

The slap was one of my favourite scenes during my first playthrough. Karen literally bear clawed Molly.
Kieran actually probably had a good relationship with Molly. Proof of this is when the gang comes to Shady Bell. Kieran rides with her in her carriage, despite having his own horse. He also then helps her out of it, which would explain why she took his death so hard

I wish artur could do something for Molly's emotional stability and Karen's alcoholism. In an RPG everything would have been fixed doing Side quest or giving stones.
I took my time with the game but man, the atmosphere and dialogue from the camps between all the characters is fantastic. And it's genuinely interesting stuff, too, since some of these characters don't interact much with each other normally (especially Molly who mostly sticks around Dutch).

I feel sad for Molly. She gave up her family to be with Dutch. She was more or less his doll and when she needed his support the most he abandoned her. Unlike every other misfit in the gang, she didn't have the means to do her part, she was a misfit among the misfits
Whoever voiced these two, they deserve a reward they really hit hard on this part..

When she punched molly I honestly felt that one XD
It was clear from this interaction that Karen had no idea what Molly was talking about. Chances are Karen wasn't saying anything too bad aside from her typical jokes, but Dutch was most likely starting to isolate and make Molly paranoid at this point. In chapter 3-4, we could see this treatment amplify because Molly would have visible freakouts about how everyone's laughing at her and talking behind her back. And in the end, Karen did care about Molly. She was one of the only people to stand up to Susan and call her a murderer for shooting an emotional Molly for her drunk confession.
