I have a drive, which has an average of 30 shared folders in the root, the problem is that everyone can access any folder when they have permissions set by specific users, for example I create a new folder later I assign the permission that only the user Frank can use it, but still everyone can enter, how can I solve this? what should I do? I appreciate your help.
on sharing permission give full rights to everyone group whereas on security permission manage specific user or groups that wants to give permission that resolve your issue not to access folder that not give security rights.
@@jehangirsharif6767 IF u watched this video carefully, for the first time when he tried to access the folder he was able to access but not able to open. I thought he wasn't able to access it because he didn't grant permission to this folder by going to the folder properties and then security permissions. And later he said that He was logged on to a Base machine that I don't think if he was correct. It doesn't matter whether he was logged on to the base machine or VM. If he was able to access the folder, he shouldn't have been able to open the folder until Security permissions are granted to the Group. I think he stopped the recording video and then went to the Folder's properties and then granted permission from Security. Right
