Well since RoS is still kind of a small band but growing. They are usually one of the first bands to play while most people come to the show later on when RoS already played.
The room isn't very big. Basically the room is as wide as the stage. And on this night, the place was packed. Also, The Slidebar doesn't condone pits/moshing. Case in point: blogs.ocweekly.com/heardmentality/2013/03/slidebar_puts_the_kibosh_on_me.php
I think you're talking about "cupping the mic" right? Just makes the vocals louder and more clear, not that big of a deal. This vocalist is nuts, just like the rest of the band
Why all the hate? Haha The vocalist is awesome and what about Ron Casey. If he's so badass why didn't he just stay in Flesh Consumed? Not that he's a bad drummer because he's obviously beast. just saying though.
RON CASEY murdered those drums. He's so heavy...Thank god he left this band. He's way too brutal for RoS.....and the new vocalist can go home. Old RoS will never be topped.
I wish they filled up some of the chugging parts with some more thought-out riffs. The leads are ungodly ridiculous, which I enjoy a lot, but there is just so much chugging in between. reminds me of Viraemia with a lot lot more chugging.

Personally, Ian Bearer is a fantastic vocalist but, he doesnt have the right approach to fit the music. like, when Peter Pawlak was the vocalist of RoS, when they performed he actually looked and somewhat behaved as what would be alien-like. Ian just kinda stands there.
