Dr. Monlam, thank you so much for this information! I have been looking everywhere for a way to learn Tibetan. If you keep posting lessons, I would be so happy to keep learning from you!
Thank you so much for your videos. I know 3 languages including Chinese, but I wanted to learn Tibetan for a while now. Your videos are what I'm starting with. Thanks for your work, look forward to being able to read and speak the beautiful Tibetan language!
Dear Dr Chok བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས། ཧ་ཅང་བཀའ་དྲིན་ཆེ། འགྲལ་བཤད་གསལ་པོ་འདུག🙏🏻👍🏻 Your explanation is indeed very clear and beneficial. Do you teach *privately* your textbook "Speak Fluent Tibetan"? ང་སློབ་དེབ་འདི་ཀློག་གི་ཡོད། ཕན་ཐོགས་ཆེན་པོ་འདུག Really pray that there will be an opportunity to learn directly from you.🙏🏻 བཙུན་མ་ཉམ་ཆུང་ཞིག🙏🏻
I love this, Dr. Chok. Thank you so much. Some day, we would love to see a lesson about the vowel changes due to rjes 'jug ("suffixes"). As in, how དད་པ་ makes da into de. And with ra go ("superscripts"), we learn that རྗ་ should make cha change to ja? I'd like to know more about these things.
Encouraged by my daughter, who is a new UA-camr, I am inspired to teach Tibetan as she promised me to edit my teaching!
Dr. Chok is a great scholar in both Tibetan Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan Language.
