@@idreadFell365 the reincarnation spell makes so the elf takes control of the body and the elf did just that but he didn't have memories that's why at first he was in a state of no movement just standing but when asta triggered Yuno's memories, the elf accessed those memories and thus became yuno. So the elf did take control, with memories of yuno and was basically yuno.

What about the magic knights vs the eye of the midnight sun in the shadow palace they were wildin in there especially when noelle almost put fana on a t-shirt with that sea dragon's roar
My theory is that whole fight was intentional, Licht could sense his boy in Yuno, and Liebe in Asta and you know that elf Licht hates demons after they spun the block on them in the past. Because run this fight back Yuno was tired because Licht had him evading but Asta? Nah he was either trying to train him through live combat or he punished him for getting his grimoire or something. Still a 9/10
