• Mantys Engine: The Mantys Engine is a remote controlled, covert killing machine. Lightly armored, but deadly, this small device has free flight capabilities.
• Porcupine: The Porcupine is a shoulder mounted homing missile system. Lock on, fire and forget.
• Sky Fury: Death from above. Decimate enemy forces from orbit with a series of high-precision particle beam blasts.
• Arc Missile: Dual function can operate as an escort or be fired in the direction of facing. Discharges incapacitating, Arc electricity at targets within range.
• Ghost: Personal stealth camouflage system that effectively cloaks the operator not engaged in combat.
• Vultur: Aerial drone that scans the battlefield and pinpoints the location of enemy targets and equipment on your HUD and radar.
• X3-JMR: Deployable electronics jammer. Disables the enemy's comms and equipment, preventing them from calling for support.
• Carapace: Protective shield that absorbs damage from virtually any basic weapon for a short period of time. Deactivates when returning fire.

Wipeout was definetly one of the best launch games (it was the game that sold me on the system, and it's still one of the best looking Vita games). Unit 13 was a bit different from other shooters, its main problem was that it could get quite repetetive, but I wouldn't say it sucked. At times (depending on a game mode) what made it interesting was the different ways one could approach a situation, with the maps being more like arenas than linear levels.

Are all these Van Guards Killstreaks in the multiplayer I know the drone that brutally kills enemies and the rockets are in there but are all the rest of them in the multiplayer?

Actually the launch lineup was pretty decent compared to most other consoles, the main problem was that other than Unit 13 nothing really good (that I can remember) came out for months after that.

I can't wait for this game. Don't get me wrong Vita has good games but it only has a select few. I can only play them for so long before I get bored of my vita again. And before somebody pulls out one of those same popular 8 titles on the vita. Yes, I do have them. This game is gonna keep me on my vita for a long time

Look at the multiplayer videos on this channel, the actual game looks sooooo much better than this. My guess is that the devs quickly threw a level together to make the demonstration videos of these weapons.

These really aren't really kill streaks. They're just either perks you get from packages on the map (whoever gets it first can use) or they're weapons you can buy and charge up when playing.

No. its sane people who want actual games not indie titles that find it bad. Im selling my Vita today, I'm sick of having to wait for a game to be released that i actually want to play. didn't have that problem with the PSP or PS3
Im not too sure about "being better then killzone 3" because killzone 3 had classes such as turning invisible and placing down turrets etc... but this killzone is slightly different, but I will defiantly be buying this for ps vita it should be good fun.

technically its a Point Streak system not Kill Streaks (like COD:BO2) , also whats really awesome is unlike COD, the Point Streaks don't rest when you die
Vita is not expensive is worth the money trust me when you get the Vita You'll forget all about the PSP I know I did Besides DaVita is some what backwards compatible just buy PSN cards the majority of the great games are compatible with the Vita and you can play with dual analog sticks if you work the controls out the right way... the vita has plenty of games for it it may not have a grand theft auto or good call of duty but it definitely has some worth wild games on it....
The only issues I've had with Mercenary is the spawning is truly one of the worst I've experienced. I should not be spawning directly in front of/behind/beside the enemy team in a team-based game, setting me up for either an easy kill or instant death. This issue is constant. Another issue that's more a preference than problem is I'd like the option to bypass interrogating an enemy when attacking from behind. Lost too many kills to that. Otherwise, the beta has been nothing short of addicting.

I don't really know which games were right at launch, but I hear Unit 13 sucked, wipeout looks awesome though, I loved the console, whish I could get it, but I just got the psp and am still loving that (my second psp)

aside from the pathing, ai, numbers and physics this is turning out much better than killzone 2. and killzone 2 was pretty good. kz3 sucks.
