- Team Honda HRC's Chance Hymas has been a revelation over the three opening rounds of the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship. Here, the young racer from Idaho talks to us about his first moto win, the feelings involved, the challenges he's faced, some thoughts on bike setup, and his intentions on making this a four-man championship battle.

Big fan of CH48 since the first time I saw him ride at a futures Supercross in Houston, TX in 2022 I believe, he was already one of the fastest and always have a good attitude 👏👍✌️
It’s a 1 man championship right now. It’s a 3 man championship for 2nd place 👍🏻
I like hymas. He seems like a good dude and fun to hang around. I'd be happy to see him win the title. He will eventually. Maybe this year or next year

@@bradsanders6954 Haiden is good, but Jett is a motocross savant and is on a completely different level. Haiden will have nothing for him on the 450.
@@bradsanders6954this is a season long points race and if he simply finished the moto in second he would have the overall and a big points swing. Which is what he did. That track was extremely deceiving. A ton of the top riders went down. Everyone that says Deegan won’t be good on a 450 are kidding themselves though. He was passing JCoop when they were doing 40s for outdoor training.

😂😂😂. Deegs managed his race there was no need to chase Chance down at all. Why risk it on a wet track. Chance is fast and getting better but so is Deegs. Look what happened to Tom trying to push it un the second moto.

I think Deegan was a little tired. Once you drop into a pace, you get a rhythm then it takes a huge energy push to go ham and if you don't need too, then why?
Hesitant to say that Chance is in this title fight without seeing him string together a few more good races, but the talent and the speed are definitely there.
I dont know about the title but he was just off the podium in rd 1 and 2. And now hes tied for 2nd in points. The kid is riding great.

Only a 2 man race. Deegan and Vialle. Hymas did good but haiden didnt try to catch him. First moto he beat hymas by 20 seconds. Hymas was pushing 2nd moto. He said he wasn't but he was. Haiden rode smart and won overall.
These young bucks on both 450 and 250 have taken over.

Every 250 was on a knobby in moto one and moto two, we checked on the starting line.

He knew he could lay back rest and mail in the overall. You guys were last week talking about Vaille gonna be the guy. Moto GP 2× win er gonna take down Deegs.. wuh wuh, Tom gets sent back to Eli, who was the first guy that was gonna take Deegan down, third place. Next week or will be Shimoda will be the guy he got close and pressured Deegan. Chance will be in 5th place somewhere with Tom and Levi..
