I was at your webshop and chose a bass, but in the end the shipping wasn't free, it was $186, which isn't a very good price for shipping from the US to my place. I live in Germany and of course have to pay customs duties and VAT on import, which increases the price by about 24%. I wonder. If the bass is sold without tax for US citizens, does it not have to be taxed by the buyer or is the purchase of instruments tax-free in the USA?
The tax rules for small businesses in the US are odd, but there is currently a loop hole for small business to not be responsible for collecting tax.
