Thank you for that last message. I’m a new subscriber who has been really struggling lately personally. I’ve been finding it hard just to get up to the most simplest of tasks for the last several weeks, experiencing a most crippling depression. Your message of hope and kindness really touched my heart. I appreciate your words of encouragement very much. My dream has always been to visit Paris and Disneyland Paris. I hope I’m able to realize that dream some day. Again, thank you very much.❤️
We used to have the original Skull Rock and Capt. Hook's Pirate Ship in Fantasyland, before it was redone in 84. It was in the area where Dumbo is now. Capt. Hook's had the best clam chowder.
It actually is pretty dark. Probably about the same as blue Bayou. But not too dark that you can’t see anything. The main difference for me was that the people in the boats have a good time and wave and scream at you as they float by. Lol.
@@trulymadly9562 the only reason I mentioned it was because at the blue bayou they have little l.e.d. lights on the menus because it's so dark. I didn't notice it on these menus.
Hi Chris! I enjoy your videos a lot. They are so informative and entertaining. My husband and I were actually at Captain Jack’s on July 16. We had a wonderful time there. We were also right by the water only a few tables from where you were sitting. I enjoyed the boats coming by and waving at us. The food was quite good and the service was excellent. Watching your video made me feel like I was right back there again. Thank you for posting this!
Chris missing the opportunity to make a pun or joke out of his "limey" sir-VEE-CHAY was the second best part of this video... after what appeared to be Rob ducking behind a large bush to avoid being on camera towards the end? As an introverted military vet with a strong aversion to being on camera ever, I felt that with you, bro. :)
So happy to see you’re still wearing that awesome tie Chris 🙌🏼. What a cool spot, had no idea this existed. Definitely adding this to the list for my eventual trip to Disneyland Paris
Thank you for a very special dining experience in beautiful Disneyland Paris it truly was a fun time and hanging out with you always makes my time spent with you that much better you truly are amazing thanks for making my day now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Provost and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you also please be safe out there peace ☮️ out ✌️
I have always want to go to the Blue Bayou! Every single time I went on the ride I thought about how much I wanted to eat at the restaurant. Maybe someday I will go.
I had to laugh while watching this. While you were eating there was a song playing in the background. In my church they use that tune for one of our hymns.
My favourite restaurant at Disneyland Paris absolutely love it. I also like Remy’s Ratatouille restaurant. Need to try Walt’s though as I have not been there yet but feel like I need to as the food looks amazing
I did the one in California. Yep! YOU have to a reservation. I've eaten there twice. DLP is "bucket list" for dining and overall park fun. Today was national Hot dog day. I ate two in honor of Mickey Mouse. It's also Moon Day. 07/20/1969 Houston, We are GO for landing!
This restaurant looks really amazing and I'm so dining here when I visit Disneyland Paris. The interior makes me think of the loading dock on POTC at Disneyland. Seafood is one of my favorite cuisines and I grew up with it. Thank you for continuing to provide me with Disney content and I look forward to much more!!
As an Angelica (not Teach) myself, I always get called Angela. But thank you for another amazing video. I would definitely put this on my bucket list, but unfortunately I'm allergic to fish and dont want to risk my health 😢 the fruit soup looks so good.
Thoroughly enjoyed this food review Chris. Had a big smile on the whole video. Would love to see more like this. And darn dude, you again brought a tear to my eye with your nice ending. Everyone needs that. Cheers Sir...Mark from NorCal
The first time we visited Captain Jacks last year we were seated at the front next to the ride as the boats first entered and it was so much fun. We waved at the people in the boats and it was great when some waved back. The best was when we waved and boat shouted back “Bon Appetit”.
I love Blue Bayou at Disneyland, and wish they had one at Disney World. Another favorite is the Strawberry Soup at the Grand Floridian breakfast buffet - I think I ate 5 bowls when we were there! {pre-pandemic). This place looks amazing - love Disney theming!
Dear Sir! Another wonderful video. I really want to thank you for the affirmation at the end. If you're in a good place it just sounds kind of corny. You did one in a past video and I had just gone through a divorce and losing my job. Sir, it was like you were talking directly to me through the camera as a caring friend. I have no doubt you are 110% sincere. Ironically, the next video I watched was from Adam Savage and he did the same thing. So, that was a huge kick in the pants to find some help. Thank you so much. I promise I'll always laugh at your jokes because I owe you so much. I'm in a much better place now and taking notes from your videos as I hope to someday soon take my grandkids to Disneyland.
re: the credit card thing, about 15-20 years ago people in europe also took your card like they do in america. i think part of what's changed is that it is now impossible to just swipe a European card (at least for france and belgium, anyway), you have to input your code. this is to prevent fraud but also because this is when you decide if you want to add a tip if you pay via card.
Glad you enjoyed it! Two questions please - do you have to be inside the park to use the app to make the reservation? Also (and I may have missed it in your videos), do any of the parks other than Disneyland, CA have a Club 33? :) Cheers!
DL let's you make reservations 60 days in advance through the app without having to be there. I think WDW is like 90 days out, not sure on DLP. The app would probably tell you though.
My 3.5 year old was so excited to be watching a PPP video that he picked on his own. Lol He asked if we could eat there. Had to break his heart by telling him it was at DLP not DL. Might have had a bedtime meltdown.
We would love to go to Disneyland Paris some day. Good to know that paying for your meal is handled differently than what we are used to. Those are the little tips that are helpful for international travel. Our family is loving all the videos from Paris.
Omg I’ll be in a world of trouble if I watch this without my hubby, so will be back! 😂 Our family loves your channel - the BEST Disney creators! Life is hard enough, PPP brings the smiles we all need😃
Most places in Europe should bring the credit card reader to you. Although I recommend every American uses a chip and pin card or looks at revolut for a fantastic foreign currency card with no fees or transfer cost.
Always A delight to see you traveling To other parks. I must say I miss seeing your favorite "Wench" not with you on this trip. I am ready now to go visit the Paris Disneyland. Sadly to say I need to travel the oceans to dine in the counterpart of our California Blue Bayou restaurant in New Orleans square ?🤔 Now I know where my bread basket went From Disneyland California to Paris. I'm still very upset that they do not serve this to us as they had done always in The California park. To the suits at Disney it is not a good luck to go cheap sometimes. Shame on you guys for removing and cutting back the little extras that made our restaurant so special. Your loyal customers and guests do not appreciate the bird singing from the corporate office above those towers in Cinderella's castle. We as your loyal supporters of the brand and the parks parks do not want to hear your chirping "cheap cheap cheap cheap chep" Love your channel safe travels home.
I want to go there! 👍
Thanks
Thank you for your uplifting messages at the end. They are so needed & usually seem like they're tailored for my life at that moment.
Disneyland Paris Rocks
The sign off had me crying again. 🙂 Thank you for the kind and heartfelt words and for inviting us in to your family. 💚💙👔💙💚

Yay! You tried the fruit soup!
Great video. When Chris gets his excited little moments those are my favorite. Thanks for the vid!
Wow!!! Captain Jack's and skull rock are so cool, and I love adventure land, you've definitely put Paris on my list 👏👏👏👏
Disneyland Paris Rocks!!
Oooooh captain jacks so fancy😄😛😘
Wow! Skull Rock like in Neverland?! I so want that at Disneyland, but I don't think it fits anywhere.
We used to have the original Skull Rock and Capt. Hook's Pirate Ship in Fantasyland, before it was redone in 84. It was in the area where Dumbo is now. Capt. Hook's had the best clam chowder.
I am so excited to see all of your video you guys make me happy I watch you everyday
Chris's daily affirmations for the viewers are a little sappy and cheesy, but always feel heartfelt and genuine. God bless you Chris.
So nice to see what their Bayou has to offer!! Fruit soup sounded iffy but it looked delicious - and it got a PPP happy dance! 😀
Nice vlog. Really like the inspirational message during the outro. Your a good man. Have a blessed day. 😊
What a beautiful restaurant and nice food!!
Looks so fun! Seems a lot less dark than blue bayou

Loved all the Disneyland Paris videos ❤
This is making me crave Disney food!
I have a reservation at Captain Jack’s in December! I can’t wait. It looks so cool

This video is so super fun! I may never get a chance to go to that restaurant but I had a blast being there with you guys. Fruit soup! Who knew? 😄💕✌️🌟
Your positive comments always seem to come right when me or my husband need to hear them. Thank you. 🖤 You're awesome.
I've been watching your videos, now I want to go to DL Paris. All your videos are very informative. Keep up the good work! 🤗
2022 Ceviche Challenge!!!
i like your video

Really good review. Thanks
Thank you for taking us with you. I love all of the details!
Absolutely love this place! But it's not the fanciest restaurant at all! Try getting into Walt's next time ;)))
Or The California Grill at the Disneyland Hotel.
@@tonycommodore8929 yeah thought of that one as well, but that's now closed temporarily
Rob is rad! Stoked he travels with you more.
So happy to see you’re still wearing that awesome tie Chris 🙌🏼.
What a cool spot, had no idea this existed. Definitely adding this to the list for my eventual trip to Disneyland Paris
Fruit soup is one of my favorite things to get on a cruise!!
Looks like an amazing restaurant and menu!
Hello there polos park pass I'm your biggest fan and the love your kind of Easter eggs and secrets about it
Exactly chris it’s like telling a story but through a ride as shown on 5:02-5:10 true.
Went to the Blue Bayou in February 😊❤ it was so beautiful and we had the celebration package for my birthday, the servers even took pictures for us!
I had to laugh while watching this. While you were eating there was a song playing in the background. In my church they use that tune for one of our hymns.
I want to visit Disneyland Paris so badly. Your videos inspire me to go even more.
I loved it when I was there in 2017. I like it better then the Blue Bayou at Disneyland in 2019.
Did Rob like his salad and dessert?
My favourite restaurant at Disneyland Paris absolutely love it. I also like Remy’s Ratatouille restaurant. Need to try Walt’s though as I have not been there yet but feel like I need to as the food looks amazing
Just love you!!
Blue Bayou at Disneyland in CA would be awesome if it got transformed into this.
I got blue bayou reservations for lunch! I wish I got some for dinner but I’ll take what I can get
Interesting reference to real pirates on the menu. Blackbeard's name was Edward Teach.
Captain jacks and bistro chez remy you usually have to book in dlp app about 3 months before your trip to make sure you get a reservation
Love it! Looks like a great time!
I'm determined to book a meal here when we're there next year! It'll be our 20th wedding anniversary. So I'm hoping we make it happen
As an Angelica (not Teach) myself, I always get called Angela. But thank you for another amazing video. I would definitely put this on my bucket list, but unfortunately I'm allergic to fish and dont want to risk my health 😢 the fruit soup looks so good.
I prefer the overall aesthetic of Blue Bayou at Disneyland but wish it had the different levels that Captain Jack’s has. Thanks for showing us!
Yes, I agree! I love the Blue Bayou in Disneyland, but living in England now I do want to go to Disneyland Paris at some point.
You’re an awesome 😎 UA-cam channel.
Thoroughly enjoyed this food review Chris. Had a big smile on the whole video. Would love to see more like this. And darn dude, you again brought a tear to my eye with your nice ending. Everyone needs that. Cheers Sir...Mark from NorCal
Much more options than the Blue Bayou!
The first time we visited Captain Jacks last year we were seated at the front next to the ride as the boats first entered and it was so much fun. We waved at the people in the boats and it was great when some waved back. The best was when we waved and boat shouted back “Bon Appetit”.
I absolutely love this restaurant! Unlike Anaheim, you really feel immersed in the ride. I vote a refurbishment on the Blue Bayou! 👍👍👍
Theming is really cool, but the food looks kinda funky compared to Blue Bayou, haha
Don't drink, but all I could think when you were doing the drink menu was "Rum! Where's the rum!".

Wait how u pay in America then, that’s how we pay in australia

Have you ever done anything on The sword in the Stone. California merry-go-round anvil sword and anvil can you pull it or can miles pull it?
I imagine they prepare the food to have different flavor depending on what country you come from. After all, the menus ARE in... different TONGUES. 😜
Most places in Europe should bring the credit card reader to you. Although I recommend every American uses a chip and pin card or looks at revolut for a fantastic foreign currency card with no fees or transfer cost.
Fruit soup = Smoothie
are kids allowed to go in there at the one in Disneyland because i just hit 18 two days ago? just a question
Of course kids are allowed.
HI CHRIS!!😁
Did Disneyland have a skull rock years (and years) ago??? Or am I imagining things???
Love the positive feedback! Two questions 1) How to get a passport 2) Would love to hear Rob say more then a few words
broooooo that credit card thing is how it SHOULD be, why on earth would u ever hand ur credit card to anyone unless u are forced too
I like to see food, but I don't like sea food. So it lost me there.
Instead of blue bayou it’s captain’s jack. And the restaurant is on the left not the right while Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland are on the right.
Does this adventure land have an Indiana Jones ride?
