That was great. Thanks!
This was great! Thanks👣😁
Wow that was a lot harder than I thought, doing heavy weights at the gym hurt my low back and knees this is a great option
Thanks for these demonstrations/ideas
Used shoes instead of bare feet easier on bottom of feet vs sandpaper.
Just got my board to help with skating. Stoked to get on it and really work on my balance
did it help?
Very helpful info 👍
I thought this thing was kind of useless. Now i see that it is very versatile. Thank you! 🌿💕🌿
Awesome
Hi Holly, this is Holly (70 yrs young), been going to PT for my foot, just got my balance board in mail, excited to do more with it then what they showed me at PT, thank you for your help.
Thanks Holly! 😁 Enjoy
I have got the board to help me train for my SUP board. I will try all these exercises. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks for this I just got mine from amazon. It's definitely going to help with my recovery
How is the recovery going girl??
Update?
参考になりました!
Thanks🥰
I attempted squatting on it, and shook like crazy 😜 more practice needed
Yuk Yu, Alison LEE If you do it regularly you’ll probably be surprised how quickly your body adapts. The first time I used it I was all over the place, and probably 1-2 weeks later it was easy to move around on
Very interesting band technique. I've not had my Balance board long. Still trying to master it. My 4yr old has fun with it too. Also have some Balance Pods that I've not gotten outta the box yet. I'm trying so hard to be motivated about fitness. Oh, an thanks for the towel tip. An isn't it cheating to grab the board? An love helping my child grow. Thank you an God bless!
Jezzika Giesa I wouldn’t say it’s cheating to hold the board. It’s a tad easier but some people lack the balance to not hold it and need to work into it. Also, some people have wrist problems and need to hold the board this way to avoid pain. Glad you’re having fun with it, as well as your child 😀
Thanks holly....great presentation
Thank you!
@@RenewalFitCoach Would love to see you put another video up tailoring "lower body recovery" for people trying to use this board to rehab foot, ankle, and knee injuries. ☺
Nice job! I loved the creativity and the invitation for others to use their ideas. I actually build and sell 3 different types of balance boards, but I won't spam you, just to say you inspired me to broaden my suggestions for a greater variety of exercises.
Thanks for the feedback!
I bought one of these boards on eBay. We'll see when it arrives if it is any good...
You'll crush your fingers with those mountain climbers
I do lunges on mine...will practice doing squats and the hip raises ok mine
I felt so anxious when you started doing the rows with the band lol
I do the twist on mine! 😂😁 I also do semi squats (can't go any lower), balance the board in all directions, use the board for pushups. Now I have a couple more to add to the routine.
Jen Malcom I like the twist idea! 😂
@@RenewalFitCoach certainly makes it more fun! Put on some music, and just "twist"! 😁
How is the butt lift any different on the board vs just your feet on the floor?
I just bought the board
Hope you enjoy it!
Will 8t builds muscle. I understand strength
Woah I bought this because I broke my fibula but i didn't know helps with more than just that lol
Nice video, is a balance board worthwhile for sit ups? I'm thinking of getting one
Sit-ups would be very hard and probably unsafe for your back on one of these. The surface is also hard and rough so it would be very uncomfortable. But sit-ups aren’t the greatest core exercise anyway. These boards are better for safer exercises like planks, mountain climbers, leg lifts, etc that will still work core but will hit more muscles in a safer way. Something like a Bosu ball or stability ball would be much better for crunches/sit-ups
@@RenewalFitCoachthanks for the reply, useful information
Just out of curiosity do you still use it 4 years later?
bella e brava
Hi Holly😘
You should mention planking is bad to do if you have any prolapse.
Freeman disc
U ll break the door 😂
Would this help to loose some body fat ?
If you do it consistently it will help burn calories and strengthen muscles. Those can help burn fat. A healthy diet combined with consistent, moderate-to -intense exercise are the main things that help lose fat.
I have started playing this board but I find that my knee hurts
Did I do anything wrong?
It depends on your form, and how new you are to these movements. If your form is off your knees can hurt, as well as if these are all mew exercises to you. Have you been working out much previously, such as with squats or lunges, etc? If not, try doing more of these on flat, stable ground and making sure your knees are always in line with your hips and ankles. It’s hard to maintain good form on the balance board, so make sure your leg muscles are strong and able to do proper movements before using the board. If that’s the case, you can simply use the board for standing and rocking back and forth and core exercises before adding other exercises.
@@RenewalFitCoach i am a teenager so I think that my knees are fine before this (at least there wasn't any problem)
All I did was balancing on the board :/. Though after reading your comment I do think that my knees are not in line with my hips and ankles, but it is so hard and my knees go inwards when the board go upwards on one side :(
Thank you for the effort put into replying me 🙏 Happy new year (so late hahaha
@@Chan-me5wg Then as I mentioned, try doing Some of these on sturdy ground first. You probably need to strengthen your glute and hips muscles which stabilize the rest of the leg/knee. Work on squats to strengthen the whole leg too
@@RenewalFitCoach maybe get a checkup, X-rays etc to check body alignment.
Good but background music was a bit grating
Sorry!
How many sets of each exercise?
Kathleen Moya That all depends on your fitness level. I’d start with one and if that’s easy move to two. Three is good for more intermediate/advanced fitness.
Holly Soto thank you!!
8:22 oh no this is western spy. heels touch ground when slavs squat around
Great video but please choose better music for your next video.
Grip tape
Just watching tv for a whole episode would be a workout, right?
leonie critides yes, if you do this while watching TV that would be a good amount of time
Music disrupts the ability to hear what you are saying
Doris Stouder Thanks for the feedback
am i the only one who sees a problem in doing workouts on a moquette?
Hair Extension and wig culture!
This is a whole lot easier on a carpet. Try this on a hardwood floor.
Hello, we also do balance board, are you interested in cooperation? Looking forward to your reply ,my friend
Not at this time, thank you though
They sure sell a lot of gimmicks.
This is what Brook Shields fell off of and broke her femur. You will never get me on one of these things!
is it best in barefeet as I see people at classes wearing training shoes
maria jiminez Shoes are probably best, due to the support for feet and ankles. Barefoot is just what I chose this time being at home
best with shoes for better grip if you're doing standing exercises
Respectfully, it would be easier to hear you without the music.
Thank you for being kind with your feedback. This is an older video of mine when I was still learning and I have since cut out most music in videos to improve the quality.
I had to stop watching the video because of the very annoying and distracting innane 'music' background noise.
Tie up that hair so you don't have to keep playing with it
Nice exercise, but don't talk to much go straight to the point 😅
I’m trying to get better at that! And some people want or need to background info. At least there’s fast forward for that. 😀
