So that dam you passed over is the controversial Rodman dam. It was built around the '60s to divert water to the defunct "Cross Florida Canal". There are remnants of it in the area including a tall bridge over nothing, and other infrastructure and it was never completed because it would have put salt water into the aquifer. Interesting area...
Osceola and Ocala National Forests are two places back home that I truly love exploring. This is a great video. I would love to meet up with you guys one day and hit a trail together!
Gopher tortoises are protected. People used to eat them. Now, they will shut down multi-million dollar construction projects, if they find a den. They love the warm sunshine 😊
Great video. I wish I had seen this before yesterday. I really think I saw Joe at DuPont forest in NC yesterday. I noticed a rig that looks just like his in the parking lot with a Florida tag. I started to go talk to them but didn’t see them at the Jeep. The pole or antenna or whatever that is sticking up on the back in the roof was identical with the rooftop tent, awnings etc. By the way the skinny guy looks good on the gladiator!
You were in my backyard! Great video. But that guy with the Ford! Holly crapola! Goes out there with a ratchet strap holding up his gas tank? And whenever I see side steps on an offroader I never know weather to laugh or cringe! Oh well, everyone had their own style I guess. Lol. Maybe I'll run into you at the Adventure Vehicle expo in Stark. (I've gone the past 2 years). Or maybe the one at Brushy Mt in your backyard. (Went last year).
Love you guys videos!!just a note….the guy riding with y’all is in a F250 diesel not a f150. Big weight difference….probably why he didn’t make through the deep water crossing.
Love your videos and learn a bunch. One request. While you're editing your video's, see if you can find more of a happy medium between recorded sound and Voice Over. If memory serves me right, the last couple of videos your voice over is WAY LOUDER than the video. I think I may even have to replace one of my laptop speakers under warranty now...LOL
This is a long shot but i would like to talk to you all through private message. I am also a 911 dispatcher/ firefighter that enjoys the same hobbies from central area SC. Would like to talk about routes and adventures as i am newer at this type of thing online.
I don't know what to think about this. I want to think it's cool but it's just bringing cars into deeper places. Everytime I see them go through water I think about the oil and crap they leave behind. Just rubs me the wrong way

Awesome video as always. Jeep save the day again. Jeeps rule the trails.

We saw that, It looks great.
Had a great time thanks for saving me lol
We had a great time also. Glad you came along.
Down in our neck of the woods. You were at Osceola at a decent time. Talk about wet, that place will make you consider adding a periscope at times.!
I could see that.
That looked like a fun Florida adventure.
It was.

Yep that was more than likely Joe. He has been in NC for a few days
@@CoddiwompleOverland should have waited around. What is that sticking up on his roof?
It is called Weboost. It is a cell phone booster.
@@CoddiwompleOverland learn something new every day! Thanks
Your welcome!
I'm surprised that Ford gas tank didn't have a skid plate. My old Isuzu Amigo had one standard
It was actually an oversized aftermarket 60 gallon gas tank. He is having a skid plate fabricated for it now
You were in my backyard!

We will be at both.
JEEP to the rescue! :)
😁
A 22’ long 7600 lbs truck would always be my first choice for an off road vehicle. 😂😂
Everybody has their own preference

You are correct.
We hope to be doing the F.A.T soon hopefully next month!! Thanks for the great videos you’ve done on it.

Minute 1.13 I swear to god I saw a yetti Stick his head out and wave.... lol...... maybe its the fried mushrooms I had on my burger.... ")
Musta been the shrooms🤣 I relooked at it and still do not see a squatch.
If Jeep didn't put a locker in the front axle of your Mohave what type of traction device is in the front axle for traction?
The front is an open differential

Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Thanks for your opinion.
Evobe I support your feelings. Any use of off-road vehicles really impacts basically everything in nature.
Do you walk everywhere you go?
