Get a 5w lightglobe between positive of inverter and battery positive and wait for light globe to go dull then connect the positive cable to battery, no spark, no inrush current.

Hi Mate, I feel sorry for you it’s a real pane in the but. And that’s why I won’t buy anything electrical from interstate . It’s no one’s fault it’s just that Australia is a huge country and it takes a long time to get anywhere. I think it’s better to to buy local or from manufacturers that have stores in every state. I live in a small country town in WA 500 Ks from Perth and even I try to buy locally at Albany which is 55 KS away and it really gives me peace of mind. Anyway cobber good luck with your replacement looking forward to hearing the result. Jon

As it turned out it was the the inverter as was the problem. I got a kings inverter and took the kickass one back everything is working good now

Mate I'm having same trouble with my 12v setup it has got.to do with the current that the inverter is pulling to charge the super capacitors in the inverter. The bms I suspect is going out on short circuit protection

Arrr that sucks. Have you tried to hook the battery to a different inverter and see if it dose the same, worth a try even though your inverter was tested by Kick Ass. It does sound like the battery faulty though as it should work on any inverter. Be interesting to see what iTech World have to say.

BS that you have to send he battery back to WA - who pays for the freight ? plus the time it takes to! You would think that itech world would have a local agent where these could be tested.

Itechworld paid for most of it. It was like $20 to ship. No they have nobody to test anything you have to send it back to them. Turns out it was the inverter and the battery not liking each other I got a kings 1500w inverter and it works fine

@ Thanks for the quick reply . I am waiting for a 50 ah Lithium battery from them that I purchased for a camping power supply . I submitted some questions about the correct charging procedure for it and they didn’t bother to reply . Will be interesting to see how the battery performs .
