Hey friends! So I recently changed workspaces in Paris and I've done my best to make it cozy for my last month that I'm in residence. Living in a small appartement in Paris has taught me how to make the most of a tiny living space haha. I show you how I've organised as well as paint a bit/show you my art process and have fun with friends! I go back to Art school soon so many more art vlogs to come! Then in the second half of the video I take you with me to the south of France (in Avignon!) for an impromptu trip for a documentary film residency. It was a really interesting experience and I share my thoughts what I learned at the end of the video. Thanks for tuning in! My time is precious and you always add to it when I enter this cyber sphere, my life is more sparkly to explore after one of your videos, the hue turned up all around me and I am totally charged creatively. You keep my eyes awake and open to the possibilities our dreams lend to us within every shifting moment and YES my art is finally now blooming..
I may never follow this professionally, but the healing that I have experienced through my watercolours this past year has been ground shaking and more than I thought I was capable of.
So now, I paint. And in turn my ripples inspire my friends and other women in my life.
That shift for someone who has never connected with art to freshly discover their capability to participate and to begin creating for the very. first. time. is HUGE! Perhaps bigger than the explorations of established projects.
That's making a difference in the world, so that we can all become co-creators in building a new world.
And yes thank you UA-cam so much for this Platform and for your humanness dearest one, for your playful approach that gently invites the inner child within each of us to wake up to the possibilities of our own worlds and to add magic to it from our own hearts.

As an artist myself I often think of all the people whose work I will never see because they haven't become famous. I always enjoy it when you share your work and I'm really looking forward to seeing your film.

🎶🎶good morning! good morning 🎶🎶 i love the theatre kid energy! also what you said at the end about not seeing eye to eye with certain people and to detach a bit so that you aren't too influenced ooof that is so true! it took me a long time to realize that just because someone has a strong opinion it doesn't mean they are "right" or that i have to change what I'm doing to please them. i would literally drown if i tried to please everyone lol

So important that you got to detach yourself from the opinion of some speakers/teachers. I studied Fine Arts (5 years master) and honestly it completely killed my creativity, I stopped painting for years, and it’s only now, a decade later, that I realize academia in France is 90% having your perspective pushed through the very narrow filter of an older white man. With everything that it implies. I wish I knew that when I started.

You’re right that it’s important to hold onto your artistic vision and not let yourself be knocked by the views of others, because they are just that, views. Also I agree that your work in showing other young artists doesn’t and shouldn’t appeal only to upcoming new young artists. I’m not, and I’m sure plenty of your audience aren’t but we want to be inspired in discovering new art, whether for ideas or just for enjoyment. Thankfully the world isn’t as small as that guy thinks.

I'm so glad you didn't take that person's bad advice of only showing young artist 'stars'. It's way more interesting to see real people who are following their passions without the fame aspect. Just another reason why so many people gravitate to youtube, we're looking for humanity.
