This band has really helped me with my drug addiction. I used to listen to Never Shout Never while buzzing and and I started to realise that wasnt what i wanted for my future. I'm now slowly but surely stopping, thank fuck.

My buddy showed me this song in probably 2011 I loved it! He unfortunately was battling the demons that we all unfortunately carry his were a little heavier then some. He took his own life last weekend and his funeral is Friday and I know I got to be strong but this song brings me to tears. I love you Thomas Green and miss you brother I’ll see you again one day until then I’ll stay PLUR. One Love brother.

it’s 2020 and i still think Time Travel was their most experimental album that really payed off in their favor. as well as somehow blending lofi and indie music before both genres would make a boom. truly a dope time to be alive and tripping.

This song made a huge impact on my life when I was younger as I finally realized that I'm about to embark onto life as a musician and an actual adult, and every time I listen it just gives me chills knowing that I'm growing old and life will always be hard no matter the standards. I'm are he was crying when he was caught trying to smuggling all those drugs in and out of the US.
For the past month I have been struggling with depression and recently I have started having panic attacks and breakdowns. I don't know what it is but something about this song and this band makes me feel just a little bit better.
I feel like this band has saved me so many times from my own mind! I just make some tea listen and breath. And I feel normal again. This song speaks to me in ways I can't express.
However I'm upset by the "we miss old Chris" junk. He's grown you should be proud, as a fan to watch this. He's a human too, just like you listen to his music to feel something, he writes to express himself!

Actually i was. However people change its healthy that hes gone through different styles and phases. Trying to keep him in a place where he obviously didn't want to stay in his life is selfish of you. This new him has learned a lot from his experiences, plus his new music in particular Time Travel is more insightful with meaningful lyrics. Not to say his previous work wasn't meaningful these are relatable in a completely different way. Honestly hes human, i'm sure you've change a lot in six years. If you can't accept this version of him, or anyone else for that matter, who has changed over time its very sad and I feel sorry for you.

I met Caleb Denison, the drummer, in Joplin Missouri at Faith Assembly. He helped me through some dark times. He's an amazing man of God and a great friend! I love his music!

What I think is funny about this song is that its genuine time travel for me. I was 13 years old and it was the beginning of 8th grade. Laying the middle of my bed without pillow or blanket. With my eyes shut tight hi as a kite with my little one hitter. I'd get up and sway my arms side to side and spin circles to the chorus, eyes still shut. Essentially meditating. A simpler time in my life that I enjoy traveling to; My childhood bedroom in Chicopee, MA in the fall with the windows open. Thank you Never Shout Never for giving my something I can simulate and tie to my past self.

I believe the meaning of the song, is about drugs. And his battle with hard drugs (. "acid and mdma") the sun representing hard drugs and the moon representing less hard drugs. And I maybe he had an overdose or something which caused an out of body experience, causing him to "talk to the man in the sky" (most likely god) and go sent him back to clean himself up, but. I may be wrong and besides, people write these songs for you to hear and relate to. I feel how ever your heart feels it is most important.
