Jeremy Clarkson test drives the Escort RS2000. It has a 3 door hatchback body style with a front mounted engine powering the front wheels. The Ford Escort RS2000's engine is a naturally aspirated petrol, 2 litre, double overhead camshaft 4 cylinder with 4 valves per cylinder.
This unit has an output of 148 bhp (150 PS/110 kW) of power at 6000 rpm, and maximum torque of 190 N·m (140 lb·ft/19.4 kgm) at 4500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a 5 speed manual gearbox. The Ford Escort RS2000 weighs a claimed 1124 kg at the kerb. Top stated speed is 211 km/h (131 mph).

wow he hasn't aged at all
Well.. I mean.. he is the same kinda age as Tom Cruise.. uhm.. so yeah. He hasn’t aged beyond 80 yet..
He speaks in a more old fashioned accent in this, not sure if it's the mic or the done thing of the era?
Did the Sierra get a Zetec engine near the end of its life ? I don't remember that it did ?
It did not. The last motor the Sierra received was a DOHC that replaced the Pinto.
Clarkson mop on his head sure looks pants lol must have stuck his fingers into a plug socket lol 😂 or touched a few wires 240 volts
