You really work hard..we in Indonesia always sprinkle water on the bricks to wet them before installing, so that the bricks can stick more firmly.
In my opinion, it will be faster to let the bricks dry and absorb moisture. The construction will be faster. If the bricks are wet, the mortar will take a long time to dry.
