So many of my commenters on Tiktok told me the North Side of Surabaya is a dangerous place. They spoke of gangs and cartels up here... So, I throw down a random marker on Grab and get dropped off with no internet data in the north and middle of who knows where to see what's really up.
Welcome to Indonesia. Paradise of food, exotic places, friendly people, unique tropical fruit, and cheap shopping. Happy travelling. Enjoy your journey. Memorable in your life
pada dasarnya orang indonesia baik ,ramah & bersahabat, terutama kepada pendatang dari negara lain. mereka sangat menghargai anda, walaupun anda cuma bisa mengucapkan sedikit bahasa lokal👍😊❤️
In Indonesia, when someone says, "Don't go there, it's dangerous," it often translates to, "That's where people less fortunate than me make their living." Most of the time there are no real dangers. Just a different way of life. Even the poorest people in Indonesia rarely engage in crime. Even in the most impoverished areas, there's still a strong belief that drugs are wrong and breaking the law is not a good virtue.
@@nokrisandi6810 I learned this in England, many "no go areas" where the scary poor people live (poorer than we were, we were a slightly small step up) and working various jobs in my life, I've concluded people are just people, living their lives and trying to find comfort and happiness where they can... And if I'm gonna be controversial on any level, I dare say my experience in life is that poorer people are often kinder, more welcoming, and more willing to share and go out of their way to help. So I 100% agree with everything you've said man and thank you for saying it!
