How To NEVER Get An N Perm Ever Again

- There's no debate: N Perms are the worst PLLs. But there is a trick you can use to NEVER get one ever again, and that's what I'll teach you in this video. By learning CP recognition for your OLLs and learning some new algs, you can tell when an N perm will appear and you can avoid it. In this video, we'll go over how this strategy works, how to use it, and in which cases it is/isn't useful.

chances of getting nb perm 3 times in a row is 1 in 216. which is the same as chance of 3 pll skips in a row.
N(o) Perm
You can get N perm from any of the 57 OLL cases.
Quite a few OLL algorithms have the same appearance both on the left and the right, as well as front and back, that means you can perform the OLL either in its own position, or do a U2 and start the alg.
This includes OLL 55, OLL 56, OLL 21, OLL 57, OLL 20, OLL 1.
Sometimes, if you encounter an OLL situation like the ones above, you might want to consider which way to AUF if the OLL is only a U or U' away from being in the position where you start your solve, if it is already in the position where you would start your solve, sometimes you may want to do a U2 and start your algorithm to avoid N perm.
Of course, this may not work for OLL 20 (a dot with all the corners oriented), but should work for the rest of the OLL cases.

Fun fact, I made myself an Anki deck to predict the CP (including the direction of the headlights in case of adjacent CP) for each of my OLL algs. I.e. in theory I already recognize the diag CP.
I was thinking of learning some CP algs already, but this video gives some tips which algs to start with.

Na is just Ja with a R U R' U at the start. Nb is reverse Ja with L' U' L U' at the start.

G perm really isn’t that bad, they can be really fingertrickable if you know the right algorithm

How do you deal with a case where G alg isn't applicable? the 3 edges and 3 corners don't fit in any of the four G cases, the 3 edges are facing in the wrong direction. I believe there's some variants to G alg for these cases.

no, that means that if we ignore edges and look at only corners, the corner pattern is same as sune. that is one oriented corner and the other 3 misoriented in a particular manner.

that would be way too sophisticated. as good as trying to learn zbll or 1lll i think. if u hate n and v perms, coll and ollcp might be useful. u can learn full ollcp to get only u, h, z perms but that would be too many algs. if u are good at lefty moves, u should just mirror na and use that as nb. anyway, both na and nb are very rare, as rare as pll skip.

But the fun of playing cube is the mystery for what is coming. I learnt full OLL and PLL because the excitement of various cases regardless of the time (my PB is 20 seconds and no interest of going faster) i love solving variaty of cases and from different angles, learning is more fun. I won't stop just in 1 alg for specific case

I heard that a rubiks cube can be solved in only 20 moves from any scramble. but how the N perm I use can be 22 moves
bcuz there maybe like 40quintillion possibilities and human brain cannot analyze the best solution for each scramble they get so they create speedcubing method which can solve the cube step by steps and and eventually get down the cases to oll and pll which is just 57 cases plus 21cases, only computer can analyze and solve any scramble within 20moves
just because it can be doesnt mean, speedsolvers do it that way. 20 is minimum using computers but human brain cant easily figure out such solutions in seconds. so they use cfop which takes around 55 moves. Even FMC, where the challenge is to give a solution in as few moves as u can, u are given 1 hour. even then solvers dont always figure out 20 moves. like it can be more.
but ur comment gave me a thought. we can have a more efficient n perm than the 22 move n perm. like these
