    Thank you for doing this video! I've been looking for exactly this comparison. Excellent video to help me make a decision. I love Latitudes products.

    Agree with you, love my method 2 , upgrade the webbing and magnet and be very hard to beat.

    Just getting into the saddle hunting I’m an older guy. That’s been logging tree stands into the woods here in Alaska for years. I’m really liking your content! I’ve watched most of your saddle, hunting videos so far, Good luck out in the woods this year! The Maverick looks like the perfect little set up for me lightweight running gun and won’t break my bank. Now I need to find a good little one stick.

    I’m 5’6”170 lbs, been running the Classic 2 the past two seasons, no issues. The end of last season I bought a Method 2, used it a few times. This season got caught up in the hype bought a Maverick and Lonestar. I’ve been using both. I find the Maverick more comfortable. If it had the vertical webbing the Classic 2 has it would perfect. The Lonestar is too bulky and heavy. The waist on the Maverick conforms to my lower back. The waist on the Lonestar does not conform. The waist belt on the Lonestar is positioned poorly. It should extend past the linesman loops for waist comfort. I sold the Lonestar, running the Maverick, ordered a Method. Thank you for an honest review .

    I have had the Method 2 for a couple years, and just got the Lonestar. I'm thinking you are right about the break in, first time in it and I wasn't in love with the comfort, my Method 2 feels way more comfortable. Hopefully with a little break in period it will get way better. It's well made, just hope the comfort grows.

    I will say this also I believe having the xl version helps by having more saddle under ur but and the bridge loops farther from the hip = comfort for me

      Yeah, that is what I am thinking. I think it needs to be used a bunch to get it to soften up a bit. Great saddle. Just out of the box very stiff.

    May I ask what your Doyle gear hoist is in and how it’s attached to your method 2? Thanks 🙏

    Im 6'2" 175 lbs...thin waist. 32 to 33 inch waist...looking for good back support due to injuries to my L1 L2 discs....looking for something that doesnt pinch hips. Was thinking of getting the lonestar just because their hip pinch reduction but after this review maverick may be better option? Anyone recommendations ?

    • @NewDayOutdoors

      @antonshoemaker665 The Maverick is more comfortable. But if you have a bad back, you are probably going to want to pick up a back band as well. Another option is to look at a 2 panel saddle, as you can raise the top portion to mimmick a back band. I personally love the 2 panel from Buzzard Roost. Another great option to look at is the new saddle from Hunt Arsenal. Their new for 2024 saddle has a very high back support that can be retracted when not needed and is very customizable.

      @@NewDayOutdoors i see the original poster loves his 2 panel as well. I mean I'm not against any, I just got the cheap kit from xop last yr and I feel its better for me than sitting in my hang on but it does pinch my hips and doesn't provide much support. So I really have little experience in them but do rather enjoy the experience. Don't have lots of expendable money but will spend up to 300 for something comfortable.

      @@NewDayOutdoorsso which do you like better buzzard roost or the method 2....been doing a ton of research on both and both seem comparable in function. Hard to make a decision since I have not sat in them.

    • @NewDayOutdoors
      @NewDayOutdoors  13 днів тому

      @antonshoemaker665 I am really liking the Buzzard Roost better than the Method 2. The Buzzard Roost has a wider top band than the Method 2 so it makes it more comfortable. I got the Buzzard Roost after I made this video. I have been hunting with it for the past month or so.
