Old vid, but still solid advice. My 1# tip though, is to be aware of curious spectators walking into your raceline while your back is turned. That and loose dogs.. They just can't resist running out infront of your car.
Nice vid, thanks for the tips. And yes, these cars can hurt you lol, my rustler on the grass doing 30mph+ before i went brushless gave me a nice bruise on my foot, thank God it was on the grass 😅 Now that I'm doing speed runs its getting harder to find a nice open road to run on.
have a spotter is the best advice I can give you, someone looking up the road the opposite way to you, and have them shout 'car'. best advice I can give you
+David Khoung indeed but we all had to start somewhere and many of us forget this also is it me or isn't UA-cam littered with videos of people who don't do these checks and end up smashing cars because they don't follow the basics. Had I not done a trial run I'd have not spotted the castle esc braking is 50% by default. How many traxxas 4tec 2.0's on UA-cam have them fitted and don't know this? Quite a few. No point in hitting 100 unless you know you can stop

UA-cam is full of people with no common sense! Sometimes it's necessary to state the obvious!
David Khoung common sense isn’t to common these days
Kinda like how people forget to remove super glue from face and phone before beginning to cross streets?
