A real car is 60k and if you flip it everything would break. Does that mean it's as fragile as a chima doll? Or does it mean that damage increases as scale increases? You tard
Well, thank you very much for this video. I was about to spend close to $3000 building one of these, but I will let other people iron out all the kinks that it looks like it has. That garbage servo on such an expensive car is unacceptable
To be fair name one RTR, or ARTR that comes with servos, that comes with good servos? That answer is not one does. Just 2 good 1/5 scale servos will set you back over $900 and those that are supplied cost less than $50 each since they buy the cheap ones in bulk.
@@tjkj-om9oi I upgrade servos on cars and trucks because I want more responsive and faster steering, not because the car won’t drive in a straight line. But I actually suspect the tracking problem isn’t only due to servo that front suspension setup looks like a poor design.
Interesting stuff . I love this concept and scale . It appears to need some steering tweaks , maybe castor / camber to ease the tracking . I'm sure 100mph is possible . Good luck !
_With the size and build of this RC, your lucky its not totaled! An all aluminum and carbon chassis has about one good wreck in it and that is all she wrote!_ _I would be treating this thing as a "real car" where you better not be taking any sort of damage at all with it or else you better have the capital to be prepared to completely replace it!_ _Nice to see you guys are the only ones doing this as of right now because, ngl you guys are low key idiots for trying to "speedrun" this car! ITS GOING to take flight!_
Damn you went out there and crashed that man car! Smh! Nice vid though! That car is probably more of a shelf queen instead of being functionally sound!
You think the 1100kv or 1250kv motor would be better for this? You don't need all the extra torque and the 1100 or 1250 kv on 8s would be roughly equivalent RPM wise as the 800kv is on 12s. Might be able to actually use the trigger to accelerate rather than rolling into it so slowly.
Awesome car and whats that 70mph in real time scaled to car size is like 200mph so incredible looking its not surprising it breaks the car up thank you for showing the car in action
I would really recommend investing into a perfect pass RC launch control if you are serious about speed running this car I am running my PP launch control and currently have broken 163mph on my limitless GT chassis shooting for 200mph.
Because the servo sucked and didn’t want to destroy it . And it’s only 2wd and you can’t just nail it with all that power. But hey if you think you can do better than be my guest.😂
To high off the ground body doesn't gel well to the chassis to stop catching air has no aero two wheel drive touchy steering crappy brakes fragile...my zd racing ex 07 smokes this thing in so many aspects especially strength ive crashed it at 60 mph about 20 times and never broken a thing and it cost less than 1000 au...
Said it on his chanel, wanted to like it but right out the box he had issues! Had to grand away parts, incorrectly fit parts, esc wouldnt fit in position, then the servo ( that comes with it) is poor, its as fradgile as a china plate and it drives rubbish. I dont think anyone that paid full price for it would honestly be happy
Time to scrap the junk radio system and get a better system like Futaba. I mean just bashing those cheap radio's are ok but you want better control you need a radio system that is known for fast/precise response. You are rather dumb thinking a $50 radio is good enough for a 30+lbs RC with that much power.
Well the gt5 has never let me down at 133 mph never even wiggled lol and the servo is the problem was not strong enough to hold it steady and straight. But hey what do I know.
@@garywynegarsvikingrc843 Well they have it labelled as 100kg which is at least twice what that RC would even need. My HPI Baja, also 2wd, only has a 45kg steering servo and it weighs 20lbs more and has zero issues. Plus when I state radio system I am also referring to all the electronics on the RC since I started out in RC when radio's came with 1 or 2 servos in addition to the receiver/transmitter so I still consider servos as part of the radio system. I also have run some RC's with those GT5 radios and then switched to Futaba and it is really night and day difference.
Oh, I totally agree that there are way better radios out there. I do have the radio link rc8x and it’s a night and day difference from the gt5 . We were doing a run with what it comes with out the box. And we improve from there. It will be back better than ever.
Good looking car . I’d definitely recommend an infraction over this .
Great video! I love the design of this car but cannot justify the price. Arrma Felony is 80+ mph out of the box 🙂
at 1/2 the size, 1/4 the weight, and has 4wd. apples to oranges
$2300 and fragile as a china doll. It looks cool but is basically junk in my opinion compared to most other RCs.
Looks great but not worth the price tag. This is just another Raminator… too many issues. Great video though. Subscribed 💯
Reminds me of that one motor per wheel rc that some other UA-camr bought and crashed miserably.

Yup just like there primal trucks junk
Definitely the closest thing to a real car. You crash you gotta fix it 😂
Man those arms must be really weak to have broken so easily........It's shame coz that has to be the best looking RC i seen for a while!
Crazy expensive for it to break that easy .....

Hey I’m releasing my RC to complete with this I’ll wait until next year if you can

I knew this would crash right away.
Interesting stuff . I love this concept and scale . It appears to need some steering tweaks , maybe castor / camber to ease the tracking . I'm sure 100mph is possible .
Good luck !
I predicted this yesterday. A bigger X01. It will never do 100 mph. 2300 an servo issues? You're not the first. Drag race, and the body came off.

Joe was worried about you running it through water. lol
😂
Sweet ride! I just subscribed to your channel. 👍
Thank you for your support your awesome!

Probably should have a cap pack in it. I hear Exocage.

5th scale at 70mph = 350 scale mph.. no wonder it got squirely
Ahahahhah.
Someone should mount a 1/4 scale supercharged V8 in one of these just for entertainment
I'm guessing that box with the arrows on it does not contain Gwenyth Paltrows head.
MCD racing all the way for 1/5th scale on road.
Bro not your fault the car front light will never go in a straight line

Sorry 😢 but that looks all sad 😢
Yeah idk looks cool but my 1/5 8s monster truck will do the same speeds
Cool
Perfect pass servo if the beast is too much lol.
At least it looks good, kind of, if you're into those I guess.
Soo not worth the price major fail
front links were already failing, hence the gyro issues, not going straight......
Why’d he wait so long before rolling into the throttle?
Doesn't know how to drive, yet he's the speed run guy... They should delete this video.

I dont think this is made for speed runs...
Testing area way to narrow...
Just doin challenger shit
Should of let it ride out a bit, breaker to hard now broken.
That thing is lame as hell . That was so boring I almost fell asleep and that thing is as durable as a Temu rc car .😅😂
Car took flight the 73 mph didn't count
It went sideways at 73 mph because of the crappy servo.

Not for me 😮😐
It looked like it's hard to holspd straight, not your fault
I say its next level bada$$💯🏁⛽️🛞♥️👍
