Handmade Grungy Style Forgotten Diary, Helena's Diary SOLD

This very chunky handmade grungy style junk journal, Forgotten Diary-Helena's Diary, is the fifteenth in a series of forgotten diaries. It is inspired by a long forgotten journal that was discovered many years later in an attic or a trunk. This grungy journal has distressed edges and threads, and is filled with interesting spots to make notes. This journal contains more than 70 pieces of removable ephemera including a vintage lace covered envelope, mini photo album with photo reproductions, paper cluster pad, reproductions of vintage photographs, vintage recipes, grocery folder, embellished tags, reproductions of vintage postcards, reproductions of vintage letters, vintage grocery stamps, envelope pockets postmarked 1943, reproductions of vintage receipts, page from a antique geography textbook, vintage diary page from 1916, cluster pad, and a glassine bag folder. The pages are coffee stained paper, pages from vintage books, and pages from a vintage address book. The journal has pages (edged with fabric or decorative stitched) in three signatures, in a 1 1/2 inch spine, with fabric pockets. The cover has a vintage lace binding, vintage doilies, vintage quilt piece, clock charm, and a muslin tie closure. The journal is 6 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide and there is only one available. Not all pages are shown. The journal is handmade and intended to have a vintage, grungy, distressed look. The journal comes gift wrapped in brown kraft paper tied with string.
