    I have been using the babylyiss root boost for like 10 years now and everyone asks me how my hair went from fine to so thick! I don’t think you can get that one now . I just do the roots . Every wash for 10 years . I’m lost without it. I also agree that the extensions grip you the hair batter with it

    Bunny, have you ever been tested for ADHD? I just started medication for ADHD on May 13th, at age 60. The thing I'm most looking forward to is having more focus. I too jump from task to task, as well as from thought to thought, often expressing a new thought to someone, in the middle of another thought. My good friends can gently pull me back, or as my best friend sometimes says she does
    "I just go with the flow that is Louise.", but I want to have more focus, and I want to stop losing things, like the lists that I make to help me stay organized, and important medical papers. I know that the stuff is here, in an approximately 500sq ft apartment, but I still lose track of things. If I can have more focus in my life, I'll be so grateful. If anybody out there recognizes themselves in any of this , Google symptoms, and if possible, ask your doctor for the diagnostic, non-invasive, test for ADHD. I don't know what those who live in countries without universal health care can do. Hopefully there's help at clinics that cater to the uninsured population. I should start to feel better in the next couple of days! Please, say little prayer for me that this works.

    Hey Bunny..... I actually have the exact crimper that you were talking about (with the interchangeable plates) My crimper is in mint condition. It comes with flat plates, crimper plates, waving plates and star plates. You also get additional plates for it. If you'd like to have it ......I would be happy to send it to you. I don't use it anymore. I have thyroid disease and have to be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when using heat on my hair. I normally don't use any heat at all. Occasionally I will dry my hair if I'm in a rush and absolutely need to have my hair done. Anyway....if you want it.....just let me know and I will get it into the mail right away.

    My makeup took 2 hours yesterday - and all I did was a simple eye look! I've been decluttering, so I couldn't find eyebrow gel, mascara, liner.... it was rough, but the final lewk was acceptable!

    The pink side creates more volume the mint side was more textured looking. I don't think there is a huge difference but pink is more volume for sure.

    I need one of these. Like you, I wash my hair, maybe twice a week. It takes forever for it to dry. I just dry shampoo in the middle and fluff it up. I usually pull my hair up, but I like more volume. I usually get a perm once a year, but I’m trying to get it healthier as I get older. This would be perfect for some more volume.

    • @louisejohnson6057
      @louisejohnson6057 2 роки тому +13

      That may be so, but as Bunny clearly said, she is working on repairing heat damage caused by holding hot styling tools in her hair to get that deep crimp. All that crimping caused enough damage that Bunny ended up cutting her own hair. Like so many others did during lock-down.

    • @mandyheart8754
      @mandyheart8754 2 роки тому +6

      I’m like - isn’t EVERY viewer thinking that same thing? I was shocked that Bunny didn’t mention anything about her super odd millisecond tap technique! She’s even had her own hot tool collab, so surely she knows how to properly use hot tool??
      Cuz ummmmm - How on Earth can a hot tool work when it’s being tapped on a strand for .1 second?? Of course it’s not going to work as intended - at all.
      When people use curling wands, they don’t wrap and hold the hair for a millisecond - it would do nothing. Same as this, basically nothing.
      It just looks like fuzzy, frizzy-ish not styled hair…opposed to any kind of purposeful style.
      I understand the concern with minimizing damage buuuuuut if the tool is used on an appropriate temp setting, and esp if heat protectant applied, then the hair will be fine. I mean, tapping the tool as she did is still heating the hair - so why not use the proper low temp for her hair type, clamp the plates properly, and achieve waaaaay better results?
