And here we see Tommy Doyle actually obeying one of the rules to survive a horror movie, just a year before Scream. He actually made sure Micheal was finshed off before walking away.
Some people may disagree with me, but I think it's fitting that Tommy is the one that finishes Michael off in this movie. He's been terrified of him ever since that fateful Halloween night in 1978. Now he's finally conquering his fear and taking out the Boogeyman once and for all, avenging both himself and the girl who babysat him long ago, Laurie Strode. R.I.P. Donald Pleasence (Dr. Loomis) and George P. Wilbur (Michael Myers from Halloween 4 and this movie).
I remember being so confused as to wtf that green stuff was and this ending was so weird. It’s better than the ending in the producers cut at least but still not so good in general. That shot of the green ooze coming out of Michael’s mask was a scary image fs. Overall loved this movie especially the theatrical cut I can’t stand to watch the producers cut.
I think it somehow tied into the 3rd Halloween film, with the masks that eat your face, because they also had green ooze that came out of them, so did the robot guys in there. Maybe they were going to connect it, but the writing got all messed up lol.
@@johngate4715 Nah, that's a theory with the origin of Michael's supernatural abilities were from his mask, which was meant to be a prototype of the masks from Season of the Witch.
I think it was just to add more macabre to all this, i wouldn't think much about it, people who made the later Halloween movies before the Zombie reboot didn't cared much about any logic or lore
He completely killed him here 2:44 , and that last shot in the movie is just to scare viewers and they wanted to make a mysterious ending, this is the Halloween ending before an upcoming reboot movie H20 and H30 😒 RIP Donald Pleasence 🌹
He survived being shot 6 times, being shot through the head, an explosion right in front of him that led to his face burning off, being shot by multiple police officers, being beaten by Loomis with a similar weapon but you thought being hit over the head a few times with a lead pipe killed him?
@@tedkaczynskigaming65 Well he also got a not-insignificant amount of some kind of corrosive chemical injected directly into his neck prior to said beating which is just as much worth noting.
@@tedkaczynskigaming65 Why? Loomis survived that same explosion and came out of it better than Michael did. Michael went into a coma for years, whereas Loomis recovered and went back to his career. A nuke would utterly destroy Michael, especially at ground zero.
@@SaftonYT Michael burns alive, to the point where his face melts off, after the explosion. He must’ve been charred like Ben Traham by the time the firefighters arrived, yet we see in Halloween 5 that he has 0 burns. It’s also revealed in 6 that he’s an ordinary dude who receives supernatural powers when the Thorn constellation is in the sky on Halloween night. Based on all that, I’m pretty sure Thorn lets him regenerate back into his normal form, which would explain why he seemingly dies at the beginning of Halloween 5 but is then revived after the time skip. The nuke thing was an exaggeration on my part but the curse of thorn stuff seemingly implies that he will regenerate all of his lost limbs, organs, tissue etc. on every night the constellation appears Edit: Loomis probably escaped the room and managed to survive with second degree burns. It would’ve been easier for him since he still had his eyesight, whereas Michael was blind at that point. Which reminds me: this is further proof of Thorn regenerating him, since he is not blind in part 4. Dr. Wynn wanted Loomis to succeed him as leader of the cult so he could’ve used his Celtic Druid magic to keep Loomis alive as well.
It’s actually acide, very corrosive acide. The fact that Michael could stand that without much struggle at all proves he’s way stronger than any other version of Jason except the bullshit of Uber Jason.
@@Ike_DAL Michael in the original lore wasn't human but more like a supernatural being, in this case the evil itself, plus with that cultist mumbo jumbo he got a even bigger buff
Nah, Jason is stronger. Michael is basically a human with supernatural strength and is almost immortal but is still human to a degree where as Jason is basically a non human walking corpse that just won’t ever stay down. Jason is also known to run where Michael never really runs(Sometimes walks fast), Jason has literally knocked a guys head off with one punch, and Jason has survived having a machete sunk deep into his skull at the end of part 4, fire doesn’t slow him down whereas fire has been known to ALMOST kill Michael at times. Michael would absolutely put up a very good fight but in the end, I think Jason would have the victory.

Definitely was personal for Tommy Micheal ruined his childhood 😢. Plus think about it too Tommy never knew that loomis helped Laurie to fake her death he wanted revenge for her he thought she really died according to H20.
