@tammieeastman9997 it’s a storm where it looks like a backwards c and it’s a long storm where it’s the size of Indiana, so a derecho is a storm where it’s long living and brings damaging winds
@tammieastman9997 you can get some derecho’s in Florida, there was one that went through Pensacola, destin and Panama City beach but there’s no way it can be in the bottom part of Florida because there is little land, you got Atlanta on one side and the gulf on the other side
