I remember 2 Chainz being mad when he wasn't listed as a feature on Em's revival album, we all know why, he laid his best verse for Em.
This track Was originally off of his album revival which everybody bashed and said wasn't good even though a lot of people have came back around later on and listened to it again or actually for the first time instead of just looking at the album name features, and have said that it's actually a great album It's just a different state of mind and topic
But long story short, the original chloraseptic verse was supposed to have two chains on it but didn't, it just had fresh on the chorus and Eminem on the song, everybody was giving Eminem shit about the album so he released this a little bit after in between this and Kamikaze, as a "I still got it" track and gave phresher averse as well, The last verse Eminem says is a foreshadowing to Kamikaze
He's just been around too long, longevity isn't as respected as it should be in Hip-Hop, plus he's white so it's extra cool to hate on Eminem nowadays. That said, while Revival isn't "throw it in rice" bad, it's not for me, it's not for everyone. I didn't care for the production and I don't think he had any bad verses on that whole album but very little was memorable also, again, personally. "I don't like the zombie track" I like the zombie track, I like In Your Head, Castle and Arose, I listen to them regularly, occasionally come back to Untouchable. Walk on Water was good but Beyonce is a genuine detractor to me, I can't listen to it a lot, I legitimately don't understand the love for her.
@@FGLKyouma I'm also not really feeling Beyonce on that one, but I like the song overall. I prefer watching live performances with Skylar Grey doing the hook. There's a number of UA-cam videos of them performing that life.

I was supposed to see 2Chainz at National Cannabis Fest in DC in 2023. That shit got rained out. It was a mess. Basically none of the acts got to perform , and the whole event got shut down , then reopened, then shut down again. Basically only was inside at the booths and shit for like an hour or two.
2 chainz has some great features. "All me" and "no lie" are bangers..

You have to check out “bounce” by him featuring lil Wayne. Wayne spazzed the hell out. So did Chainzz Or “out of time” with run the jewels. “Hood go crazy” with Tech ofc and “feds watching” just for good measure.

i haven't listened to much of 2chainz but from what I've heard, this is one of his best verses (not surprising based on who he's featured with) but the general consensus is that he's underrated.
also, i'm pretty sure em wrote dre's verse in "i need a doctor" (regarding your comment about using the phrase "fair weather fans"
what I love about listening to this track, knowing what we know now, this was released right before Kamikaze so this anger makes perfect sense and was a hint as to what was coming

I’ll be the first to tell you fam that 2 chainz aka titty boy is lyrical. He raps on trap beats most of the time but his lyrics are there. Arguably has the best pen on that side of the genre
He's not talking about all reaction videos. He's very specific about the ones he's taking about. The people that don't even listen to the words, only the beats and flow, then called Revival trash. I remember vividly when the tracklist was leaked and people saw it and hated it, mainly because of the features. So there was so much hate for the album before anybody had even heard 1 song! I'm not sure what you have reacted to and what you haven't yet, but I am definitely looking forward to when you get to branch out to everyone associated and under influence by the love of hip hop shown here, Crooked, Joel Ortiz, Royce, Hopsin, Kendrick, to name but a few, going to the underground with Schoolboy, Q-Tip etc. The levels to the way people attack the Rhythms/flows, k-dances etc. People don't know shit when they speak ill, and I have to add that Budden is just as good, don't get things messed up
