Easiest Way to Remove the Backing from our Premium Foam

Michael found an easy way for anyone to remove the back from our premium black open cell foam. I've been a film camera technician since the late '70s, did I really say that? Yes, the years go by fast when you always find your job interesting, and you learn new techniques. I hope this video helps anyone using our foam. It is the finest foam made, with very high pore count per inch. You will find it in all Japanese, and German cameras. Please note, neoprene is one of the worst products you can install in your film camera. It is a type synthetic rubber, not foam. It does not compress properly, and can distort the back cover. Not one camera manufacturer ever used it their cameras. Ask yourself, do you want to seal your camera from light leaks with black/grayish rubber bands or foam. Thanks for watching this video.
