I had budgies too, if i remember mine liked mashed mangoes and bananas as treats, and like here diced carrots and boiled eggs. Unfortunately my budgies flew from their cage, one of them was smart enough to realize that the door was not locked and opened it :(

I kept them together without problems. As long as they have plenty of space i think it's ok. I wouldn't recommend colony breeding them together though. Thanks for the comment 👍

@@Fareed63 Hens tend to throw babies, either their own or another nest. Males will steal nesting material from all the nests.
