Could you describe *why* the "Makita batteries aways look like they weren't designed for Makita drills and impacts." Is it shape, or size, or something else?
It is not a good machine , Poor torque , fiddly settings and today it bellowed out blue smoke and came to an embarrassing halt on the building site. Never had this experience with any other drill .

In drill mode the torque is 22Nm in low and 13Nm in high according to Makita's blurb.
