One more thing we missed to share is, that the company is still doing R&D on Indian road conditions and they do provide updates for our cars periodically and they provide this service free of cost. I don't think any other company does that.
Actually every brand does this for free of cost. I have tata altroz and recently a Tata service advisor came to my home and changed the radiator fuse as the company has r and d regarding that. This is called 'recall'.

@@capt.srikanth you are welcome sir. Citroen is a good choice, had it been there when I bought my car i would have bought it. The suspension is the best among the segments and the turbo petrol is actually good. May i wish you to drive lakhs and lakhs of kms.

It's the best choice. Suspension is the best when compared to other car manufacturers. Definitely the ride quality,handling are also great. Value for money. A budget oriented car, for local commuting and long drive with a good mileage. A transparent review. Good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Congratulations. what ever you have mentioned as a reason to buy is what I felt when I test drove
I used to apply neem oil in my car sensitive wiring parts as a result rats may invade into my vehicle but still they are staying away from wire due to smell and bitterness of neem oil

It is a good budget car who wants turbo petrol engines under 10L. The car is quick and easy to drive.
Brand has stopped "Air suspension (hydraulic fluid suspension set up) technology" way back and now they are using MacPherson strut like other brands. So do not over exaggerated.
Due to cost cuttings, No electrically adjustable ORVM, No adjustable headrest, No automatic option (Even MS Celerio does offer AMT). No automatic AC controls on higher trims. Brand warranty: 2 years or just 40K Kms whichever comes first. Service networks.

I have a question. I would like to go for C3 turbo. Now i heard they have upgraded few things. What is your siggestion? NA or C3 turbo
I would use a mix of highway & city drive
Honestly speaking I feel the NA serve the purpose for me as it's performance is quiet good in city as well as the highway. The turbo manual in my opinion on the other hand is only good for highways as it would have a harder clutch, which I do feel, it takes a tole on my left knee when I had to drive bumper to bumper.

It has been almost an year and have driven close to 9000Km only most of my trips is between chennai and coimbatore.
In my own opinion, The Naturally Aspirated engine in Citrone actually performs better than the turbo variant of the cars I did test drive before I choose this car.
I would suggest you to personally to test drive all the cars before you choose one that would suit you.

For choosing the car, I would definitely suggest you to do a through checkup and test drive, especially when it is a second hand car. Regarding service each and everyone will have a different experience, it depends on customer volume and availability of the staff at that time. The car we own performs well for our needs, it's build quality and engine is best in its class - according to me. But if you ask 'is it worth buying this car' honestly it depends on various factors and you should be the one to make that decision. You will have to go through the pros and cons of this car compare with it's competitors and arrive at a decision. All the best for choosing the right motor for your needs. Happy motoring.
Hi could you share about the build quality as well planning to get a Citroen c3 aircross . Little concerned over build as i have mixed reviews
Like I mentioned in the video too bro, the build quality is better than other cars in its class, this is my personal experience and verdict to best of my knowledge. I suggest you to go to a showroom near you and take the car for a spin. Also do test drive other cars ib the same class, you will know which car is for you when you are behind the wheels. Comfort with 5 passengers? and Safety ratings?
For a short distance like 1-2 hours 5 can be comfortable but for Long drives 4+ hours drive the middle person at the back will have issues placing there leg comfortably.

and I am working in indian railways for 10 years and i own the C5 aircross too just bought 1 month ago the c3 was my first car
my family is now in Banglore and well my c5 and c3 are very very exciting to drive and well my wife drives the c3 and me and the family the c5 aircross but still you guys bought a good car too and well good

How is the build quality? What you think about Lncap result?
According to me the build quality of the Indian variant of Citron C3 is pretty good, compared to other cars in the same class. And talking about Latin NCAP I belive the C3 subjected would be the south American variant of C3 and I have no idea regarding that.

Is there any lag in 1st to 2nd gear or in 2nd gear? How's the pick up in traffic jams?
I don't feel any such lag in this car, but one thing is if you want to stop and start the car in traffic, then you have to bring down the gear to first. Pick up in first gear is quiet good.

I just drove this car today ,but im confused between exter and c3,what will you suggest? and also do you have any comments on the safety of the vehicle?
I have not test driven Hexter so, and i own a Citrone so if i would suggest a car, it may be one sided, but lets discuss + and - of both the cars and i would let you choose whats best for you.
Citreon plus
1. Globally proven pure tech engine.
2. Spacious and comfortable interior.
3. Super for air conditioning.
4. Good milage ( around 20kmpl in highway)
5. Great ride quality.
Hexter plus
1. Lot of features for the same price range.
2. Looks good like SUV.
3. Four cylinder engine may run smoother.
4. Lot of service centers
5. Brand recognizion in India is more.
Citrone Minus
1. Less number of service center.
2. Minimal features.
3. Brand is new in India.
Hexter Minus
1. Kappa engine used is not a engine with good review.
2. Comparatively smaller cabin.
I suggest you choose based on:
1. Where are you planning to operate the car.
2. Would preffer features or ride comfort.

Also they did a global ncap for c3 and it got 4 stars and i did some digging for latin ncap and most cars fail or get 1 star rating only!,cars that are hailed for 4star and above do very bad there.
personally all the plus you mentioned about c3 and minus about exter is something im able to wholehearted agree ,guess im also biased now xD

Hi @@santhuomkar it's good to know that you have also chosen C3 and actually it gives around 15 within the city but in the display it generally shows like 10kmpl it's a good practice you reset that with a long press after selecting the Kmpl. By doing this the car will show the more actual performance of the car. And obviously after the engines set it, the milage should improve and it all depends on how the car is maintained and how it's been driven.

Hi bro, honestly I don't regret buying this car, if given a chance again I will definitely buy this car again without a doubt. But again it all comes to preferable, as this car lacks features many people would want, for me that wasn't that important as this car out performed all the cars I tested in ride quality and handling.
If you are residing in Chennai or Coimbatore and if you would like to have great driving experience then I would definitely recommend this car to you.
I would like to ask you personally to visit the showroom and do the test drive, not just this car also other cars in segment and you decide accordingly.

Yes electrically adjustable ORVM, dash can, rear cam, and few other add-ons are currently available at the showroom itself.
It seems that the thice support in back seat is poor. Am I right?
When just two is sitting in the back, it dosen seem to be an issue, but if 3 adult people has to share the back seat, then it may be little bit of a concern...
Mileage 20 kmpl ?? Really ?? Heard that 17 max in highway
In my personal experience in highway I got 21.9Km per liter once traveling from chennai to Kanyakumari and 22.2 km per liter while traveling from chennai to cbe, in city I get around 15km per liter.

@@SuryaNarayanan420 there is a displayed milage aswell, however that is not that accurate so yes I did calculate manually. Full tank to full tank get the fuel consumed to the distance travelled, this will give you the actual milage of the vehicle.
In the instrument display it indicates like AFE 18.5 - 20.00 even though the actual Km/L is more. 🫣

In highway it can easily get upto 120Km/hr in full load.

What about the service supportand spares Availabllty.
Service support was available only in chennai and coimbatore when we bought this car. But now the service support is also available in few other places like vellore and madurai. And spares are generally available or the authorized workshop will make it available for you at the earliest.

Hi Gotham, I too belive performance of NA in this car is as good as Turbo is some of the cars I did test drive. Regarding the brand stability to be very honest no one could actually predict Indian market ( globally proven ford couldn't make it in here) it's just an example. But for this car as it is made in India only I belive it will have the longevity and the service quality is good but it is limited to few locations, so if you are far from their service center then it may be a hazel for you. I would suggest you to chose the car based on the location and what you expect from this car. Happy motoring.
