I completely agree with what you said, and I also understand Manka. The thought of you losing someone you love is so painful; it feels like you’re losing them to death, especially if you considered that person your family and best friend. It’s hard to accept that they will never be in your live again. That’s why I would advise people not to fall in love with anyone until they propose/marry you. The withdrawal is painful. You should have standards from day one and strict timeline. You shouldn’t be begging for a ring and going above and beyond for anyone who hasn’t proven anything to you. I just left a similar situation. It still hurts so badly.
