hey guys! plz b nice to our lovely roomie ashley! we’re all learning how to podcast and sometimes we might talk over each other, etc! we hear what u guys r saying and will improve! love - all of us
It would be fun to see the Roommates go visit each of their hometowns. It's already fun and interesting seeing and hearing them talk about their origin stories but a visit to where each of them grew up would be a whole new different experience. I also would love to see them travel together to South Korea.
@@420hmm the person commented that they would love to see them go to south korea and i presume it's because 3 of the roommates are korean. kelly is half japanese that's why i said it'll be cool if they visited japan since kelly had also mentioned he isn't in touch with his japanese roots.
These episodes just make me love annemarie more !!! She’s hands down the best listener and ask the deepest questions and brings sooo much depth to the podcast.
You can tell Kelly and Ashley spend a lot quality time together. She’s constantly budding in with little comments just about every time Kelly says something. Plus, the fact that Elliot and Annemarie are sitting there listen to them both is great. And I can’t forget about the way Ashley and Kelly look at each other when one another is talking. Man, what a duo.
I like how AM is being so like philosophical almost like such a proper vibe and then the rest of them are just chillin saying the most random things and adding things in
I am so impressed with Annemarie's facilitating and interviewing skills! She definitely went beyond the surface with the questions and had great listening skills. Appreciate Kelly's thoughtful responses as well, he's so goofy in other videos (Btw, Kelly, I love Remy Drives a Linguini)
Such an authentic portrayal of Kelly, learned a lot about him. I think it's super interesting to have these informations about his mentality to better appreciate his videos. Annemarie is such a good lead for this podcast and seeing Ashley interact with Kelly is super cute 😊
Annemarie would make such a great motivational interviewer haha, she recallls the things Kelly says so he can elaborate & expand why he thinks that wta
These podcasts have shown such a raw and honest side to your mom's house, and Annemarie really shined through in all of them. She asks insightful and deep questions, listens well, and connects shared experiences with the subject without making it about herself. I can't wait for Annemarie's origin story episode, and I hope that she gets to lead other podcasts in the future!
I remember seeing Kelly hesitating about moving in with Elliot for the first time. Crazy to see how much you've grown and how the risk has brought you so many more opportunities
wow, i can really resonate with kelly and quitting a sport you’ve spent so much time investing in for so many years of your life and also having your parents be disappointed in your decision. i ran track for seven years and telling my parents i didn’t want to do it anymore was one of the hardest things ive done in my life. props to you kelly for doing what you wanted to do!
Kelly getting so excited during the whole podcast is so wholesome, everyone in this friend group is just so wholesome and gives off the best positive vibes
It was funny listening to Kelly talking about his idols and what they mean to him because Kelly made me look at life differently. Since watching him I’ve really tried to do what excites
This is great, but I definitely think you guys need to put more time into planning and structuring the podcast BEFORE you sit down and record. As a listener, it feels super scattered and hard to follow when you guys constantly interject and make jabs that don't add to the episode. Looking forward to seeing how you guys improve! :)
I've started watching Kelly since Ur Mom's House started and I really expected him to really have that "monster energy" and hyper and messy, so I was really surprised when Annemarie said in a vid (i cant remember which one) that Kelly is surprisingly calm and organized, which is also a contrast i guess from how he was before in The Bay as he talked about. I love how he somehow controls or balances out his competitiveness. Kelly killin' it with the personal development
These podcasts are super entertaining. I used to listen to podcasts all the time but for around 2 years I stopped because I couldn’t find any that interest me. I’m super happy they are doing this because it’s so interesting and something I really enjoy listening to.
So fire im coming to new york soon yall gotta make more food spot reviews also if yall could add timestamps that be sickk. Love from the Bay Area keep goingg
this episode was so good. I love how much more we got understand about kelly’s passion and mindset in this video because he’s sooooo infectious with his energy and I feel so good listening about how his brain works that, it literally me so hyped because of his energy through this pod. I love yall so much good ep
i would love to hear a podcast episode on being asian american! since 3 of you are half asian, it would be interesting to hear about ur experiences compared to elliot's
This provided a surprising peek into what's "behind the curtain" of Kelly Wakasa's personality. The most revealing element for me was the "moral compass" he uses to navigate his decisions. Prior to this, I would have assumed he was somewhat "without a moral rudder" based on some of his antics packed older videos. I was relieved to learn of his respect for commitment, family values, and the innocence of true belief. He is more likable than ever. I'd like to see him transition to short films. With his roommates providing expertise, of course!
I see people complaining about people talking when it’s about someone else, most of the time they try to talk constantly because it’s not etiquette to have long silences in podcasts, you need to fill the gaps since these are filmed without edits and cuts, most probably don’t notice but yeah
Kelly is just goat and too good at everything he does man. It's strange how he's so confident but never cocky and always humble and down to earth. You're an inspiration dawg DWE!!❤️
I knew KELLY and Luke from BRAILLE. Their vids are sick so I stuck around. Then life of luke and kelly happened sad with the split of the channel but still supporting Luke and Kelly together or separately!
I’m seeing a lot of people say ashley talks too much? i think she’s just an active listener, which i personally prefer because it means they’re putting in effort into understanding the conversation. sometimes by relating it to their own life. i can see how people think it’s a bit intrusive, but i believe its essential to keeping a podcast going bc you need someone to keep the ball rolling yk? i also think its cute and adds a bit of normalcy because that’s how my friends and i talk irl. i think if the others had a problem with it they’d say something. so ur doing fine ashley! great job to the guys too. it’s fun getting to know more about ur backgrounds. Also, girl… annemarie has such a talent for interviewing. Her questions are really insightful and get people thinking. luvs it!
Normally it's not a big deal since podcasts are literally conversations, but the theme of this podcast is Kelly so it's her job to facilitate the theme as a podcaster :)
To be fair Elliot and Anne Marie need to step it up too so Ashley talks less. I feel like they have different interpretations of what they want the podcast to entail. Ashley wants an active conversation, whereas Elliot and Anne Marie want the "guest" (aka Kelly) to be the main speaker and they take a step back.
elliot and anne marie are more introverted. which makes ashley feel the need to speak more or use filler words and conversations like “mmh. yeah. oh. wow really?” which makes it less awkward and i really appreciate her for it. even if the video is about kelly, we all watch the roommates for their bonding and dynamic! we like seeing them together and joking around. this was just a hang with the roommates to ashley. i’m pretty sure elliot was in a bad mood beforehand and things might’ve been tense. i love ashley’s personality, she tries her best to along with them. it makes me so sad to see people being so negative to where ashley has been sharing she’s been in a bad state mentally for the past couple of months. and she’s been stressing out w the roommates. so seeing all this feedback about how annoying she seems or how she doesn’t fit definitely makes things worse. there’s criticism and there’s plain mean. :(
ik i’m just a 13 y.o but when an older i really hope i have kelly’s mindset. kobe has also been one of my role models in life so far since i’ve played basketball most my life . and i really do see that kelly has the mamba mentality.
I just watched this earlier and during my art homework I saw there was a quote by Picasso saying “Good artists copy, great artists steal” and it reminded me of Kelly!
I relate to Kelly in every aspect of what he talked about! I watched one video of his then went back and watched his entire catalogue and now I know why!
Excited to find out if the thumbnails for the episodes with Annemarie's and Ashley's origin stories will also consist of them staring into the camera like they're slightly creepy and insane
Loving the podcast so far! I like how supportive and uplifting you all are for one another. Also I have been listening to the Ratatouille soundtrack for several weeks now and it's such a motivating way of studying or just getting editing done 🙌🏽
kelly's story is so inspiring. thanks for sharing i haven't been motivated in a while and this HELLA motivated me. makes me wanna try to be more passionate about life like he is.
Wow this was actually awesome and unexpectedly relate-able! I have been watching Kelly's videos for years and didn't know so much of this. I also grew up where soccer was my life and was my path to college. I even did freestyle soccer and made videos and an instagram posting it all and became known for that to an extent. But I also loved snowboarding and even was into skateboarding until high school when I stopped because I didn't want to be a typical "skater girl" or be part of that crowd, even though everyone I knew in the skating community was for the most part super kind and good people. Not all exactly the same of, but honestly one of the more similar stories I've heard. Makes me feel even more connected to Kelly's content, definitely my favorite creator. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to hear more about ashley and annemarie next!
Just to add, yes there is a big difference of oldest vs youngest but there is a factor of gender also. I am the youngest girl and it was different vs my older sister. Yes my older sister was very traditional but by of the influence of her my mom protected me a lot so as the youngest I didn’t get much freedom
i feel like the younger sibling trait in elliot and annemarie is very prevalent in the way that they are the most observant and best listeners as always the older ones rant to the youngest siblings about issues more so then the other way around
It would be so fun if you guys had your show on Netflix y'all are so inspiring funny relatable natural and chill there is no drama nothing is fake and everything is genuine
You can tell how competitive Kelly was in the first Gabe and Kelly faceoff on Braile he came back from the T while Gabe only had a S and almost won in the first round.

Kelly knows when to be serious and when to joke. He knows what he wants and goes for it. Good job Kelly.
He is literally a champ! An ocean of things! Such a creative soul. One of the most interesting personalities I've ever seen in my entire life!
Bro has best personality, He's confident but never rude
Woah. Anne marie knows how to handle a podcast.

If this was a petition i would sign it
I would really like to see it. With this group showing how they grew up.
and maybe Japan for Kelly as well

Annemarie really knows how to bring out a different side of people through her questions.
i feel like annemarie's questions are so insightful

Kelly's story is very inspiring, I first found him through braille probably around 7 years ago now, and it is very cool to see how far he has come
i agree with annemarie!! kelly's inspiration from the ratatouille soundtrack is fascinating -- he really has defined his strategy to create content
Kelly getting so excited during the whole podcast is so wholesome, everyone in this friend group is just so wholesome and gives off the best positive vibes

Kelly singing ´´le festin´´ is music to my ears.

Okay Kelly’s love for Kanye is everything
I only have 1 role model as of now.. and he changed my views in life during the pandemic.. and his name is Kelly Wakasa.

this was genuinely really insightful
