Jaquetta Wright You are so right about Allure. It’s been 20 years since I’ve had a bottle. It’s on my list to buy along with a couple of other Chanel’s perfumes.Allure deserves more love than it gets! I do still love #5. I’ve been wearing it for over 30 years😊
The Eau Premiere in the long bottle was the original release and it was supposed to be limited edition. But the scent took off in popularity, so they released it permanently in the classic bottle.

I love Chanel too. I have Chance, Eau Tendre, Chanel No 5 EDT, Madamoiselle EDT, Eau Premiere and my absolute favorite Beige. Gardenia is on my wishlist.

I love Chanel fragrances as well. You would love Gabrielle, Chance Tendre and Venice. I want to add Beige and Rivera to my collection.

The tall bottle of No 5 Eau Premiere is the original launch. I do think when they repackaged in the classic bottle style it was tweaked. I prefer the original. The main difference to my nose is the more noticeable citrus up top and the fluffier vanilla in the base. You own the good stuff!

I never been a fan of chanel fragrances because their so heavy and trigger my migraines. But I work for macys and my
Girl in the fragrance department convinced me to try chanel chance eau tendre the pink colored one. She knows my preferences and told me I would love it and you know what I'm obsessed with it. It's a beautiful fragrance that I keep smelling throughout the day while I'm wearing it. I definitely recommend!!

Oooh yay! I love Chanel fragrances but they’re so expensive so I only have 3 😭 I found a 1.2oz of Chance Eau Tendre for $37 on Fnet so keep an eye out it may come back!

I've collected a few Chanel fragrances. Actually my first fragrance I ever bought myself was Chanel number five but at the time I was very young and didn't understand the fragrance so I gave it to my mother and it was the EDT version. Now I am looking towards buying the Chanel number five in both the EDP & EDT. I love classic fragrances. I really do like anything that smells good to be honest.

I only have the Coco Madamoiselle Intense and I love love it! I want to get the Coco noir. I don’t know but that Chanel no 5 smells so weird to me! My mother in law swears by it. I just turned her in to Tom Ford and she’s trying different things. Gave her my bottle of my Tom Ford Black Orchid😩😩 for Christmas.

I have Coco Mademoiselle and I’ve worn it for a few years so I’m trying to branch out a little more. Ive also owned Chance (pink and gold) and I really enjoyed those as well. I’ve recently ordered Allure because I hear it has a nice vanilla scent and I absolutely love vanilla in my fragrances. After watching your vid I may try the lighter version of No.5; the original is way too strong for me. ☺️

Hi Vallivon, I would like to hear more about your different versions of No 5, in particular the differences between your vintage and new versions of Eau Premiere. I only have the vintage in the tall bottle so I’m curious! There are so many wonderful Chanel fragrances you could try, maybe start with the flankers of Chance or Coco Noir.

I dunno man. Chanel Chance didn’t work for me. Gave it to my mom. Lol The original #5 I just keep for nostalgic reasons. Wouldn’t touch it with a long stick. How many different Chanel Chance are there? I have a pink one and the one like yours that I gave to mom. Are they different? Like you rightly said. They try to play us. Lol I don’t think Chanel works for my skin. I’ve written off the brand. 🤷♀️

they are different. you might have had the eau tendre ...i agree Chanel doesn't work for everyone. They don't always make the easiest to wear fragrances
I love Chanel Chance tendre (pink) and Mademoiselle but Chanel No5 smells “elderly”imo 😓. Either it wears different that it smells or I’m misunderstanding it. Idk😣
