And absolutely Ian Thornley could at any second step in on a Soundgarden tour! Nobody could ever replace Chris Cornell, but Ian would definitely do him justice!
Stompin'! Chuck's drum part feels off but in, somehow. Amazing! And it appears people were listening and quiet during the softer parts. How nice to see that.
So glad to be at this show. I wish I wasn't standing directly behind the large pillar by the bass player. Would love to be part of a video. Had no idea at the time that all of these videos were coming out. So awesome to see! The sound was Awesome! The guitar tone is so full. And Ian killing it on guitar and vocals as always.
Bryan Hopkins actually he is they changed the headstock. I was at this show. The only guitar that wasn’t a Suhr was the Music Man he used on locomotive. It was a great show.
So,once again I must type these words...frankly ,I am getting seriously pissed off having to do so. Please, rest of the fucking world,TAKE NOTICE. Why is Ian and Big Wreck NOT household names!?? If you hear these guys and do not enjoy them, just shake your akull ( TREMENDOUSLY HARD) as many times as it takes, repeat process and wake the fuck up!! This band has been kicking ass for more than 20 years and still do not have mega star status!! Shows how stunned fucks only want bubble gum tunes by disposable shit bands.
Why are the guitars panned backward? Chris Caddell's guitar is panned to the right and Ian's guitar is panned left. All 4 of the videos from the Nashville show have the guitars backward. Live shows should always be mixed from the audience's perspective. What gives?
@Sweet T Put on some headphones and then watch the video. The guitars are panned hard left and hard right which is fine, but they are panned to the wrong side from what the audience is seeing. All of their performances from the SUHR shows are panned correctly.
I bet Ian’s tone has its own tour bus.
One of the best bands ever. I wish they were touring stadiums and making millions. What a band this is.
Yes! Underrated.
Completely....Undersold.
You should ask why.
I concour!
Agreed 100% Ian is easily the most underrated musician of this generation.
How they aren’t a stadium band is baffling! It truly is.
Is it possible to be the greatest singer and guitarist at the same time? If you are Ian Fletcher Tornley, YES.
Been a fan since the debut album in 98'! They never disappoint!
Big Wreck are the best borrowed elements of Soundgarden, Rush, and the Foo Fighters... but somehow still uniquely themselves.
totally agree on this.
Dammit this sounds so good. Not an easy song to sing, and Ian nails it. What else is new.
Ian Thornley the only person to remind me of Chris Cornell.
And absolutely Ian Thornley could at any second step in on a Soundgarden tour! Nobody could ever replace Chris Cornell, but Ian would definitely do him justice!
Lmao Chris Cornell Could Never Sing like this Imo
@@chadh9658 absolutely right. I love Chris, but he didn’t have this control.
Gage park 2021 festival of friends was the best this song and this band played live ever \m/
Ian puts such care in to his vocals, it is a marvel for any other musician who live driven!!! Or cares for their craft!
Loving these live clips. The rawer sound of the guitars really brings these tracks to life; sounds better than the album recordings in my view.
Hard to disagree, as good as the album is.
Agreed. I've been listening to their live performances throughout the quarantine.
Has that "In The Meantime" by Helmet groove to it. Love it!
Outstanding as always. Such precise playing. That pinched harmonic right at the end gave me shivers

Wish they'd come to SC or NC. Hell I'd travel a state or two to see them!!!
Sounds immense
Just heard about you guys on Rick Graham's channel. He said you were great and that was no lie.
These videos help to absolve (to some degree) the skipping of Texas.
@joanneanderson4190 oh yes I did. Caught them in McKinney last time too.

I drove 400 miles to see this show. Couldn't attend, due to an 'unfortunate' expired license? Blocked from entry.
Most Excellent !!!!!!! Thank you...….
Huge !
Awesome video! Just love watching the guys play!! Like my own mini concert!
Wow first video i see without dislikes!!
Will this gig get a full video release?
Doesn’t look like he’s playing Suhr anymore.
Bryan Hopkins actually he is they changed the headstock. I was at this show. The only guitar that wasn’t a Suhr was the Music Man he used on locomotive. It was a great show.
@@roscoepcoltrane23 Ian says it's a Hamer 12 String..... I don't know guitars... is that the same thing?
betbuk Your right it was a Hamer. Don’t know why I said Music man.
@@roscoepcoltrane23 to your credit, the 2 neck used for Albatross I've seen in recent clips is a Music Man.
He probably had a Mouradian Flapjack there for “The Oaf”.

I noticed this. Minor annoyance but not a deal breaker by any stretch.
Singer should replace Chris Cornell instead.
