- In today's aoe4 casted game we see the aoe4 delhi sultanate played by Wam01 versus the aoe4 jeanne d'arc faction played by Numudan. They battle it out on the aoe4 map called rocky river. With all the new changes and buffs to the delhi sultanate, how will they face up against the jeanne d'arc faction?

people seem to think that delhi have no late game ... which is very wrong, delhi almost never gets to late game cause it takes long to get all upgrades, but if you let them get 15+ scholars in castle, the moment they go imp you have 5 minutes to beat them. otherwise they'll get all upgrades and you lose

Bruh ottomans delhi Abbasid all of these Middle East civs have best late game because of the amount of upgrades ,knights just the one imp upgrade 😅
@@Machoman50ta but it's different, when you lose to Abbasid you lose because of their insane eco, when you lose to ottoman you lose to their comp (which some civs like the English can counter), china you lose to both comp and insane eco (also countered by the English) ... The thing with Delhi is, they don't need eco, they need time, but if you let them get to a high amount of scholars 15-18 and you don't fight them the moment, they reach imp they drop 2 uni or 1 if they go with the food landmark and in a matter of 5 minutes all of their units are elite,all their eco,uni and unique techs are active vs you that means they have around 4000 resources appear out of nothing, already in play, while all of their actual resources get put right into units... Delhi beats you by flat out magic math.

Delhi had an army value of around 32k at the end. Along with maxed upgrades - there was no way Numudan could hold that back
It's so good to see some dehli casted games. As a dehli lover since the spearmen bug days i felt like I never got to see many dehli casted games in the past.

In the patchnote is written that only WAR elephants were buffed with aoe damage

These ranged elephants only got the speed buff, not the AOE buff. However, Dehli's ultra late has always been OP (as stated by BeastyQT), just that they take forever to get there, however, this doesn't seem to be the case in this game since Numudan kinda offered the late game to Wam.
Going Arbeletreits against Tower Elephants is also a very bad call

Need those permanent health bars brother. Way better viewing experience.
You can beat that late game comp. If you have mass crossbows, that's completely losing. The Tower Elephants have 14 range armor and 900 hp once fully upgraded. You need hand cannons, MAA and spears. With that comp you'll kill them faster than they can respawn and your units are vastly cheaper. WAM just lost to Loue where he tried this strat and Loue, who was losing the entire game until he wasn't in the late game, consistently took better and better fights with the MAA and hand cannoneers. In this game, Numudan waited too long to transition away from a crossbow heavy comp. Also bear in mind that Wam's comp cost 26K resources, which is ridiculously pop efficient. If you let your opponent build up an ultimate army chances are you'll lose.

On one hand the elephant is now the ultimate units i have no idea what kills them. Now. On the other hand finally the elephant can be the beast that its meant to be
I believe they have quite low Melee Armour, so looks like spearman are going to be the way!
@FarmManOfficial but didnt they added trample or rather Aoe damage to elephant tusk? so the fight wouldnt be as good of a trade as you think.
nvm i just look its only to war elephant. a unit that i think its really under valued. incidentally apparently war elephant have charge damage.
Crossbows and Spears and lots of production buildings to spam em
Use spears and use knights to flank the scholars. Mangonels on scholars work too.
I like the change. elephants should always be a force to be reckoned with

Numudan was too much passive; if u press the enemy, he cant gather all the resource to build this enermous (and incredible expensive) army.
