Thank you. I’m struggling with this very thing with one of my sons. He has the stronger faith and has rebuked me and his family because he thinks we are toxic. I’ve put my faith in God that all will work out. God Bless you.
You made a good point to follow God's commands. That would include all of the Old Testament Law which will be written on every believer's heart, making it our very nature, God's nature if you will, which makes it impossible for us to sin. At that time, sin will be abhorrent to us. Sin will be something that we cannot stand, just as God cannot stand it. I am sure you strive to keep most of God's Law. But a lot of Christians detest keeping the 7th Day Sabbath which is one of God's commands written on a stone tablet. Another of God's commands that a lot of believers detest is obeying God's instruction on what is food. We Christians should not detest such things. Shalom!
I choose not to consume alcohol because I do not want to be a stumbling block to other Christians. My drinking could cause a person who has struggled with alcoholism to turn back to the bottle. My drinking could cause a new Christian or a seeker to turn away from God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." I can do without alcohol. The salvation and strengthening of the faith of others is more important.
Drink in private..just don't get so drunk. on beer wine or any other alcoholic beverage (know the proof% of the beverage..LOL)...that you make it public or put another's life or well being at risk... and don't brag about it openly to others off line or online even on UA-cam...LOL!! I myself don't drink any alcohol due to medical reasons that could harm me if I do drink to excess...If you're on strong meds especially Blood thinners it will cause harm and make the medical condition worse...it can even kill you.
If it not sin, then allow others to believe as they wish. The reason is that other people are God's servant not yours. It is the part of the Bible that most people seem to ignore. People believe we are our loval church's servant....bow down to our denominational beliefs.
Amen And God Bless You And Anyone That Reads This ❤

It either. Thank you for defining it.
The Mike winger video on this should probably also be watched, we shouldn’t violate our convictions even if they are wrong
Is this talking about like the 7th day Adventist Christians?
What do I do when I'm accused of licentiousness because I enjoy a drink?

Ignore the Pharisees like Jesus did (drawing in the sand). Enjoy your drink and be blessed (vs. 23).
Good teaching
