Getting lots of questions about my dried palm leaves, I just recently got them from an Etsy shop and I’m In love: www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DesertCollectiveCo?listing_id=625468222&ref=shop_overview_header
What about the beautiful wall hanging. Did a miss a video where you made it?
@@rosied9098 i got it from urban outfitters years ago
It’s fun to watch ur creativity tnx
i guess it is kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good place to watch new series online ?
@Garrett Lachlan i watch on Flixzone. Just google for it =)
When the rubber band matched the caning perfectly I felt so happy for you lol. One step easier and it looked perfect too!
Agree!
Love that you include your son in these projects! One day he'll grow up and do projects with his sons and daughters.
The way we learn doing things right is by doing and having to redo them. I'm one of them. I watched one of your videos working on a macrame wall hanging. I love that piece, but it had lots of the double hitch knots, which I was having a hard time with. I started on my piece and watched you do them knots in slow motion. Guess what...I don't have any more problems with them now. Thank you thank you so much!!!
When you were showing the close up of the vase, to show how you were going to finish it, my first thought was, "that looks exactly like that rubber band!" Then you said it right after haha. These look amazing. I will definitely be recreating that vase. Oh and by the way, I love how you show the whole process with all of your trial and errors. I've been crafting for forever and no project is ever as easy at it seems, and I love that you show that fact haha.
FYI!!! I love the rubber band edging!!!! Not gonna lie - it's brilliant!!!!
Loved ur video! I'd just been reading a really funny book and after trying to read an hilarious section to my husband and going hysterical in the process, I then watched your video and loved it as u were starting to snigger in the middle of it and I thought maybe you had a weird sense of humour like mine lol. Your little boy helping you was lovely too!! Your ideas apparently go very slightly wrong, as do mine lol but if you can't enjoy what you're doing and laugh about it then I don't think it's worth doing in the first place!! Continue to have fun with your videos as you have a fan here.
I love that you had your little man helping you, your giggle was refreshing! Thank you for sharing.....
I love that it's something other than coastal farmhouse, modern farmhouse, farmhouse chic, farmhouse...BLAHHHHH!
I LOVE IT!
Tracy Ciota thanks for watching!
You are not only talented but a Joy to watch. Cute kiddos too!♥️
I love the rubber bands! Impromise, impromise, impromise! Sign of a great DIYer and great mom!
Thanks so much! 😊
You have such an eye for home decor! I’m in love with your style 😍 wishing I had you to redecorate my apartment!
Christina Marie aww thanks girl!
These came out beautifully and add so much texture to the color palette, I’ve been seriously swept up in this cane renaissance that’s emerged over the last year or so and don’t foresee myself growing tired of it anytime in the near future!
Cane is my whole heart and soul. I love this 🤍
I love how you included your baby and he was helping. Can’t wait until I can do the same with mine 😍
JarisaDiy its the best having little helpers
All of a sudden the rubber bands MULTIPLIED on your table. I just love it when Olin makes a guest appearance. So cute!
Love the little kitchen! That’s sweet how you added that personal touch to your son’s toy & how he enthusiastically helps mom.
I agree that it's definitely an adventure along the way in the arts and crafting world. We all can learn from eachother when we show how real the mistakes and recovery of a project is
So I have a TON of vintage caning from a bookcase that was not repairable and was looking for ideas. I LOVE this and I actually have everything needed to do it! Thanks so much!
Everything is so cute!
Your son is the happiest little munchkin!❤️. Your little table is perfect!
I love to see how happy and enthusiastic you are about your projects! It's so contagious 💕
When you were putting the rubber bands on it reminded me of the guy who was putting rubber bands around the watermelon 🤣 but anyways your genius!
Rachel Zamora hahahahaha yes
Wow girl ! The table looks beautiful ! Love the way you styled it !!! Love boho decor !!
Cutest addition to the kids kitchen I love it!! 😍
Love that you got a little helper! Looks like you!
The table looks amazing!
You gave me a great idea! I have a very modern make up table I want to convert to Afro-boho, and I think caning may be the answer!!
Caning is such a good answer! Have fun!
Wonderful ideas Emily!!! You have such a great eye for decor❤️Thank you for sharing. Terrific seeing you and Olin!!!!❤️😘cat xxx
I love watching your process because I diy the same way! Oh, rubber bands work? Let's do that!
They turned out great. Just put the seam at the back of the vase. Good to show your mishaps, but good in the end lol
I always get so confused by the negative Nellie's who dislike a diy video lol. Love you Emily
wow these are stunning! ordering that caning material right now!
I love caning at the moment,I want to decorate my home in beach/ boho
Love the side table😍!! @emilyfaith What’s if you flipped the glass so the caning is on the bottom not the top? Maybe it would look more seamless, just a friendly suggestion 😊
I was thinking the same thing!
I totally enjoyed it. What a great hack! Thank you Emily!
I’m so excited about this video!!!i love this idea of using caning to craft with! I’m so glad I found you Emily faith!
Great ideas! I only have one suggestion. Next time you use caning try not to work against the natural curl as you did in both these projects. It would have formed naturally around the vase and on the glass top but you were working against the curl. Try turning it over. Headache gone! And watch those rubber bands. They disintegrate and rot so your project will be affected. Nice outcome though!
Paula Kelly I intentionally chose to work with the backside of the cane. I liked that it didn’t have the shiny coat on it. Although I do recognize that It probably made things harder for me lol. I’m sure by the time my rubber bands rot I’ll have moved on from my caning decor phase anyways.
First time viewer here. Love how the rubber bands just worked!
I would have thought you would put the caining on the bottom of the glass, but how it would look good with glue, not sure. Fun! We tried caining a chair seat once and no, its not as simple as you think. I still dont have the seat on the chair. Everything you did looks great!
Thank you. Look forward to your tips and ideas.
So cute! Rubber bands were genius! And that side table?!😍 Definitely making this! Thank you so much for sharing these projects!🙏🏼🙌🏼🤎
jesssica davisss oh yaaayyy!!! Thanks for the love
The table looks great!
I love the ones you did ! Glad you showed when you was wrong so when I try it I will know why I can't do it that way . Thank You !! Loved them all !
Love the table!!
Hello, you are as cool as a cucumber. I love how you think on the fly and come up with a solution that works.
I also love how you let your adorable son help with the project.
I liked all your projects!
Thanks for the ideas!
A Texas Gal !!!
Well thank you!! I appreciate your comments
That caning jar looks so cute! Love it. Just a suggestion. A cutting wheel would work great for that. Thank you!
These
Rejects turned out great and your son is adorable.
Great job I can relate ! You hav alot of skill and patience to be doing all these diys with little ones around, my kids would want to get involved therfor a big mess in my place lol👍
I love your videos. Try mod podge for the table.
I was thinking the same thing. Do you think it would wotk?
i have to make this side table asap ! thank you
Always such beautiful diys!!!
I love all 3 hacks.
Loved all your diys! So pretty, the rubber bands looked really good but they might dry rot 🤔
I recently upcycled a kids kitchen for my daughters and I use kitchen shelving liners from the dollar tree, to go for that “caning look”. I was so impressed with myself🤣
Looove that 🙌🏼
I have a table where the canning is under the glass lide. Maybe you could have done the same thing because it look neat and also the glass protect the canning from any damage.
You are adorable!
Good morning I found your channel under UA-cam recommendations, so happy I clicked this is one of my favorites styles ... new subscriber here .. You have a special talent for decor ☀️🌹💜⭐️💕🥰💙💕⭐️
Those rubber bands were genius.
I love watching your videos! Not only is your content interesting and fascinating, BUT your authenticity is incredible. You make me laugh whenever you laugh about something you just said. lol
Sabrina Hahn I’m always laughing at myself 🙈 #guilty
Love it! That table looks amazing!
Elizabeth Barb thanks so much
Super creative I love it
These came out so cute!!! I’m definitely going to make the vase for my kitchen table!💕
I love all things caning and rattan and was looking up how to do this exact diy! I was wondering if the material is difficult to wipe down for cleaning/how you clean it? Loved the video
Oh my goodness...maybe you could try modpodge to soften the caning while you work with it. It will definitely make it more pliable.
Happy crafting
Hi dear wonderful video🎥 your little one is so sweet. The rubber band was an amazing idea. For the table, what if you put the canning under the glass instead of on top? Won't it be easier to clean when it gets dirty or something spills on it?? Just wondering🤔💭 anyways good job dear💕 take care, stay safe and God bless😇🙏
Love the rubber band hackkk 😂❤️ who would have thought??
Loved everything ! thanks for sharing.
I would buy some glass to put on top as well. You have a little edge to fit it into. That way it stays clean too. So sandwich it between two glas plates. Hope you understand what i mean. I am not english so a little difficult to find the right words
You are my cup of tea. I had to Subscribe.
Jessica 11 appreciate that
Love the tutorials especially the Macrami which I'm going to give it a go.
Instead if using glue I use double sided tape.
I really loved the fake paper leaves you decorate with ✨
Noor Al M7rizi they are actually real dried palms 🥰 from www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DesertCollectiveCo?listing_id=625468222&ref=shop_overview_header
@@EmilyFaith lol I honestly thought they were fake😂,, thanks!
Rubber bands -- genious! :)
You are so creative ❤️
Bravo je trouves formidable que vous fassiez participer votre enfants 👏👏👏
beautiful!!! ✨✨
Loved both of your projects! Did you make the macrame wall hanging that was in your video? Love ❤️ it also.
Omg your beige sweatshirt is so nice! Where from?
Loved it 👍🏻
Nice 👍🏻
I LOVE that macrame piece on the wall. Did you do that? Do you have a video for that piece?
It's so pretty I love it!
Be careful when using E6000 though, the fumes are very toxic.
Beautiful projects! Just a heads up... the life expectancy of a rubber band is not very long. I have some rubber bands I bought less than two years ago (kept in a jar with the lid on) are already dead. They just break when I try to use them. I think they just make them very cheap now.
Beautiful ideas! Beautiful boy. Welcome to Brazil
Your son is very cute❤️❤️❤️
I looooove the wall hanging behind you in the intro.
Did u make this?
These are perfect! I love rattan but unfortunately I cannot find it easily where I live! :)
Try etsy!
@@she2hadthedramathick Thank you I will give it a go! I just hope I had a shop selling these near me though, I am obsessed!! :)
@@Minimalista_youtube I know what you mean!
Sehr schön brawo .
Did you also make the paper leaf decor things? & is there a video on it? (I’m not sure what to call them lol) they are super cute!
Jennifer Luna www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DesertCollectiveCo?listing_id=625468222&ref=shop_overview_header
How do you dried and dyed those palm leaves??
Serendipity!
I love the wall hanging & green leaves. Are they in previous videos?
Rosemary Degelia thanks, got the dried palms from an Etsy shop; www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DesertCollectiveCo?listing_id=625468222&ref=shop_overview_header
I cannot find the nesna nightstand on US website :(
Where do you Find your Nice Hanging Macrame 's ? I Used to have Really Pretty One's, Having "COLOR'S In them. I do Have Off-White Wall's and That is
All I'm Finding. Bummer ! ! ! ☹️
Now I need to know where the rubber bands came from!!??
Where is the macrame piece behind you in the intro and entro from??
Hmmm I know you used a rubber band ha love your videos and how you thing of things as your videoing. Great job ! ...
💚💚💚💚💚
I love the table however couldn’t the glass be turned upside so the rattan is below and it’s more easier to keep clean just a thought love it tho thx
ailse491 I tried it but I didn’t like the look. To me you could clearly see the glass, that wasn’t what I was going for.
Wooooo!!!
Your sooo funny🤪😀🥴
Hi the website is hard to navigate I really want to purchase cane webbing sheets to Canada can you tell me the exact link for it please?
sorry i can't. I actually bought mine from Lee Valley before it was discontinued.
