Can we talk about how the Celtics are literally never considered by the 2K sim? Highest I’ve seen them at the end of the season is the 4 seed in any of these videos. Hard to take the sim seriously with that level of realism lol

2k absolutely hates them, the bucks, the suns, the clippers, and the kings especially last year 😂 Celtics one is def the most ridiculous tho, they got a whole lineup of like 86+ and they always 21-30 and selling by the deadline
Nuggets are meh in sim too from what I’ve noticed.
Been like that for years lol. Since like 2019 every sim has them as a 5-8 seed. The few times they do beat the odds and get a top seed they get bounced in a 4-0 upset every damn time 🤣
This really hurt as a Sixers fan almost blowing a 3-0 lead in the Conference Finals after blowing a 3-1 lead the other year

What's crazy is how in basically every 2K simulation and the few years after, wether it be MyCareer, MyGM or MyLeague the Celtics get absolutely disrespected in terms of record/seeding and playoff run.
Like they weren't by far the best and most consistent team in the league this year, haven't been contenders and like they will not continue to be.

the problem was he played in the west for awhile when the 3-4 best pg’s were in that conference. As a pelican he wasn’t given enough all star or all nba selection due to playing in the shadow of Curry, Dame, Harden, Westbrook. If he played in the east his whole career he would’ve stolen all star selections from players like Lowry. Also the pelicans fan base is damn near non existent, they exist but are they voting for stars like other franchises do? do most nba fans look at their seasons and really take notice to them? no. The bucks and celtics traded revitalized his career. He looked so promising in philly before that pelicans trade too. It was the pelicans franchise that did him a disservice, he was always a star guard, and one of the best defensive guards in the league.
