That's so true. People have sex on T.V. shows and stuff. And yeah, law and order shows do talk about rape a lot. Plus...it feels like every Rated R movie nowadays has some kind of sex or rape scene in it. If they think that this scene in Xenosaga can be interpreted as rape, I don't see why they don't rate it M for mature or something. I think that's its rating in the Japanese version. xs is a very philosophical game, in some was similar to Evangelion. I think that in both have things that are up to interpretation. As far as rape goes, momo looks like a little girl of eight to nine and albedo is like what? Twenty something. that's just creepy, or am I just making sick connections?

I shuddered and fangasmed over this the firt time i saw this. Technically he;s kinda raping her for the y-data if thats the way your looking at it. ^^; It happens alot in anime so it really wasn't that scary seeing it for the first time. The scary part was how he enjoyed it so much torturing her.

I put the uncut Japanese clips in the timeline area and the English version in the audio area. Then I muted the Japanese clips and that allowed me to hear just the English audio. He does seem to get more interesting, doesn't he? I think there's a lot to him. I actually felt bad for him when he found out his brothers couldn't regenerate. He was actually scared to be alone. His adulthood is so different from his childhood. As an adult, he doesn't seem to show any fear.

+ skykid Incorrect. The shock wave was from Rubedo activating red dragon mode, not from Albedo accessing the Y Data. However, Albedo accessing the Y Data did cause the temporal disturbance.

@deadpisser88 All the same, this scene is really fucked up and is right up my ally. I tried playing this once and I hated it, the battles were boring and the whole thing felt pretentious. But with something like this in it, I just might try it again.

There wasn't much of a point in editing that scene, the rape reference is obvious even with nothing but the audio.
