These are the scenes fron Xenosaga Episode II of Albedo's and Rubedo's past I couldn't find these anywhere on youtube so i decided to download and upload them myself
I hated him in the first game but half way through the second game i found it impossible to hate him, he has such a great background story than just makes you feel so bad for him.
Poor Albedo I can’t help but feel really bad for him. All he wanted was to be able to die with his brothers and instead he’s forced to live a live of loneliness and immortality that he’d rather not have. Make you realise that maybe immortality isn’t so great after all.
That's exactly why I love that laugh! Every time I hear the last part where it really goes maniac, it makes me smile. I dunno why. His laugh is hard to do, though...
Thanks for posting! I've been looking for something that had all these parts together. ;P I agree. It does make you feel bad for him and it sort of makes you understand him. I mean, before you just think he's out to torment Jr., but the second one opens up you up to his mental instabilities and insecurities even before contact with U-DO. His fear of living without his brothers is really sad.
I don't think lack of sales was the issue. As far as I know, it sold quite well. More likely I would suspect the investors didn't want to spend that much to continue funding the game. I think it's fine as it is anyways. If it had went on, it'd probably have gone downhill and lose quality overtime and we'd be left with crappier games ruining the good name of the first ones. No company can infinitely create good games without pushing out some bad ones.
his laugh is kind of disturbing but he's still awesome that last scene with Albedo, Rubedo and Nigreto i loved and i've ben meaning to upload it on ere but never got around to it...
@panney3 Idk if you already know but its called Jr. #2 and its a bit longer than this one. I think its a beautiful song. I went through hell to find it so i hope this tidbit saves you some trouble.
It's because parents who are too lazy to do something with their children just buy them games (or allow them to buy on their own) and then complain about the content. Whereas with the TV, it's parents who don't care in general.
Oh, well... I'm just glad this trend called UNDUB gives me what I want. In Xenosaga's case uncersored scenes too. But I would be more happy if the majority of localised games treated as NIS America treats their products. However, I find the absence of the last three episodes quite... disturbing. Come on, make it exlusive and go for PS3, I want my story to continue dammit :D
I don't like that kind of Language but it is an amazing series, i just wish the bosses in III were a little less cheap sometimes I actually recently replayed episode I and III
I'm satisfied with the current ending. And i'd rather see a series end great then drag on and on and on and just turn into crap like so many other series' have. Just go out when you're big and don't milk it i say.
Considering the crap they show in TV and in movies I wonder why they bother censoring games. Games which are clearly isn't for younger audience. Such mistery. ... or misery.
NIS is a pretty bad localization company. In many cases they add game-breaking glitches that weren't in the original japanese versions of the games. Though the fact they leave in the original japanese VA AND include an english dub is nice. And I'm quite happy with how Xenosaga ended myself. If they were to continue at this point I feel it'd be forced and of a much lower quality and just end up dirtying the name, the way the third Golden Sun game did.
An energy ball in the hand? Really? It could be okay, but the hand's position just plain weird when he pull that ball to his head. I prefer the handgun version.

You hated Jr or Albedo?
Poor Albedo

I love his laugh! Crispin Freeman is good.
Scott Menville is SUCH a dramatic actor! Even though he started out as a comedic actor.
That's exactly why I love that laugh! Every time I hear the last part where it really goes maniac, it makes me smile. I dunno why. His laugh is hard to do, though...

Yeah, i've played ALOT of games, but i've never found another story like Albedo's.

"Oooh.. Ah! What is this thing" LOL. How cute! I love Albedo!! Nigredo sounds like a girl.. He's cute, though
personally Albedo is my favorite game villian in the first game i hated him but by the end of the second i fell in love with him (not in a gay way)
I'm sort of running out of things to say now

It doesn't really matter what we prefer, the US isn't that accepting.
