We walked all the way up the canal tunnel and back, took about 2.5 hours which included photography and looking at mine entrances within, water wasn't as high when we went in....mostly above the knee,we saw plenty of small trout and a few rodents within the darkness
@sandpit72 it will require ignoring a "no access " sign. But I find politeness in the odd chance of meeting someone works well. The place was deserted when I last walked the final part of the canal to view it. Another way is to kayak through it (after checking the other end is open first)
Got a small clip on here somewhere but my old phones videos always came out darker so you don't really see it proper... I'd like to go back with my big torch and re film it but was hard going on the legs
Lot of surge coming thru now and into the hydro ressy, maybe a boat is the answer, can run my dinghy in a few inches of water, I'm currently repairing with glue patches.
ace .... cheers from Newquay.
Excellent. Loving your walks in this area. Where I grew up. Some great meat walks from grenofen Bridge too. Also leat tunnel.
Lovely and challenging walk. I think you are fearless Walker. Your vlogs are really informative.
Quite a challenging 4 part walk coming in March, not sure on release date yet.

Don't think I've found it, just a semi collapsed side channel at 9.30
@sandpit72 I meant the canal tunnel sorry.
@@gs425 I haven't seen it no, but was fairly close to it yesterday at Shillamill
